According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, almost 40% of the population lives in high population-dense coastal areas. Around the world, eight of the world’s ten largest cities are situated near a coast, with about 250 million people living by a coast line less than 5 feet above sea level. It is projected that all of these people will be directly affected in some way by seawater rising in the future (Siegert, 2017). For the county of Orleans Parish, the rapid loss of coastal land is not a future scenario, but a current reality. Due to our unique geography, Louisiana loses about 16 square miles a year; the rapid erosion of Louisiana’s cost is only expected to accelerate over time. (Wernick, 2014).

Everything in this world we use comes from the ocean in some way. The air we breathe, the water we drink, even the products we use day to day, would not be possible without the ocean. That's why the issue of ocean pollution is so important and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. We depend on the ocean for so much in our life, without it we would surely become extinct. People seem to think that since the ocean is so large and vast, we can dump as much waste as we'd like into it and it will never have an effect on us. However, since we've been polluting the ocean as far back as Roman times, the evidence of ocean pollution becoming a major problem is all too clear.

The Sea Level has increased over the past 200 years as average global temperatures have increased. The rise is due to two factors, the freshwater being added to the oceans from ice melt in the cryosphere, and the thermal expansion of the oceans due to rises in sea temperature. The sea level has risen 6 to 8 inches in the past 100 years. It is predicted to rise another 50 to 90 centimeters in the next century. Children and adults are being affected on a daily basis by the air being polluted. However, it is known that children are more affected by the polluted air than adults. Air and water pollution is one of the biggest problems the environment faces today. It is one of the highest leading cause of death. Air and water pollution has been affecting the environment for many years causing many diseases among people especially children. I will study and examine the early childhood growth between two countries which are Australia and Tanzania. I will discuss how clean and polluted their air and water is for each country. Their access to clean water. I will also explain the effects that can occur when water is contaminated. How children are affected when they don 't have access to primary essentials and how each country and their environment and living condition might threatened a child 's life.

China is creating different ways to battle the pollution throughout the effective measures like reducing coal consumption, shutting down factories and increasing vehicles that are electric hopefully these ideas will be effective around worldwide. Air pollution is becoming more dangerous around the society in China causing the elderly not able to inhale properly without the chemicals around the oxygen in China however, seeing little kids and adults wearing a mask covering their face to protect themselves from any harm with the air. This problem has been occurring from 1998 to 2013 after those 15 years China is still finding a way to clear the air. Although China effort in reducing air pollution will help to stop making the air denser, the society will tackle the issues while the environment is safer.

Imagine living in a world where smog is everywhere and wearing a mask is the only way to step outside. Since the smog is betting so bad, it is impossible to see outside a window. Now, imagine a world where people have learned to use alternative energy. Gas powered cars are rarely ever used and power companies only produce alternative energy sources. No one has to worry about carbon emissions causing global warming ever again. Living in this type of world is almost impossible due to the fact that too many factories are releasing carbon emissions into the air. Factories that are essential in producing electricity and cars are burning fuel and release carbon emissions into the air.

Air is an indispensable part of human, animal and plant lives. Without it, no organisms would be able to survive on Earth (Reference, 2017). Due to excessive human activities, air pollution has become a detrimental worldwide issue in current days (Sciencing, 2017). However, scientists have found new chemicals that can assist in improving the air quality (Phys.org, 2017). Moreover, humans are able to adopt many methods to help decrease the severity of contamination released into the earth’s atmosphere. This investigation is linked to ‘application and limitation’ in ‘science as a Human Endeavour’.

To the untrained eye a person may say what does air pollution has to do with an ecosystem? This is very simple, but to further explain we have to define air pollution and ecosystem. This phenomenon happens continuously without thinking how much damage that nature has because human’s fault. Nature gradually becomes worse and animal’s life in danger.
