This paper seeks to discuss group dynamics of a problem-solving committee group, describing its purpose, demographics, and education level of the group members. In addition it will describe the stages of development and eventually analyze the structure of the group and how the structure affects the effectiveness of the group.

Effective communication depends on the group members adopting certain communication norms which include effective tactics, courtesy, and language used in communication. In group communication norms, for example, members of the group need to understand the role of communication in the successful completion of the project designated to them. The individual group members should also acquire critical tact, courtesy and formal language that encourage effective interpersonal communication strategy.
