Give it to FOX News for giving the American people the most entertaining and informative debate every broadcast on national TV. Thursday double-header of debates gave the American people something to talk about for the weeks to come. From who won, to the entertainment of exchanges and questions, FOX reminded everyone that these 17 candidates are running for the highest office in the land and our future is in stake. However, some people don’t feel this way. Some are mad at FOX performance, the questions and believe Donald Trump was the target of abuse. Some will say the gave a show Jon Stewart can never air and Miss America ask the hardest questions to “beauty queens” than the hopefuls. However one feels about last night show, all I can is this …show more content…
The governor mentioned his state county Sheriff David Clarke, who is a hit with the conservative party based on his comments on defending the police force and President Obama. "It's about making sure that law enforcement professionals, not only on the way into their positions but all the way through their time, have the proper training, particularly when it comes to the use of force," he continued. "And that we protect and stand up and support those men and women who are doing their jobs in law enforcement.” Hopefully this issue fueled by negative media reported by liberals and an administration led by Al Sharpton agenda of vilifying our local police regardless of the facts can become one of the issues Republican hopefuls look to address in an opportunity for positive change. It is time our good men and women who wear the uniform to protect our community daily doing a difficult and more than often-thankless work, its time to stop using police as a political punching bag like Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton is doing just to score hate

Dave Chappelle must have sipped bitter lemonade before his appearance at the roots picnic. After declaring he was not telling any jokes, he came with a few punchlines for comedic duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
“When you have police officers who abuse citizens, you erode public confidence in law enforcement. That makes the job of good police officers unsafe.” (Berry) Recently police brutality has become an alarming issue in society. At the end of 2015, thousands of deaths resulted in accusing victims dying in police custody. Individuals in communities across the state are beginning to lose faith in law enforcement in their ability to properly do their jobs. Providing police officers with extensive and innovative training to give them the adequate length of experience and training will decrease police brutality.
In H.G. Bissinger’s novel Friday Night Lights he goes in-depth describing the world surrounding high school football in Texas. There is nothing like high school football in Texas, it is the best thing to happen to many of the people that live there. Winning a high school state championship in Texas can make someone a hero for the rest of their lives. This being said, it causes a lot of difficulties once this peak in their life is over at such a young age. Many of these people do not know how to live with themselves after their days of football are over. They grow up and live through their kids. Sports and academics are two of the areas of life where parents attempt to live their dreams and ambitions through their children.
Television promotes candidates’ image over their policies. Instead of the candidates discussing what they are going to do for the country, they simply argue why they are better than each other. The candidates being televised gives the audience a sense of knowing them, which causes them to lose the audience's interest in political ideals and to be “judged by standards formerly used to assess rock singers and movie stars”(Source B). Instead of the candidates
The newspaper reported that “an implicit defense of Mr. Trump was also a consistent theme” during the 18 hours Times reporters watched Fox News. After President Trump’s push to repeal the Affordable Care Act did not get enough votes in Congress, Fox host and analysists said to not blame him, the newspaper said.
In the article “GOP-Fox Circus Act”, Reed Richardson argues that although both the GOP and Fox have conservative political values, they are ultimately harmful to each other’s agendas because of their differing political goals. Both organizations are lacking popularity in recent years so they are struggling to find new ways to gain an audience. The GOP wants to find a way to get their ideas to a wide variety of people, whereas Fox is promoting more liberal views to increase the ratings of their programs. On one hand, the GOP’s reputation is hurt by the inaccuracy of Fox’s reporting. On the other hand, Fox is tied down by the conservative views of the GOP, thus restraining Fox from gaining a larger audience. Journalist Reed Richardson wrote this article for The National, a liberal newspaper, in 2013, so the events and issues that he is speaking of are still relevant to this day. Due to the differences of political views between the author and the subject matter, there is plenty of room for biased statements and opinions. Does Richardson provide enough evidence of the harmful effects of the Fox and GOP relationship? Richardson clearly and meticulously establishes the problems that both organizations face in the pursuit of their political goals with the use of statistics, reliable sources, and thorough evaluation of events; however Richardson constantly provides the reader with a biased argument when discussing the current state of Fox.
Nope, he's still a broke joke. And the only successful shows on OWN are those Tyler Perry shows and Iyanla fix my life and I know he's not working on those. And ooh he makes sure the lights are right for RHOA. That sounds like an amazing job! And Hollywood Divas? Is that the show with a bunch of has been? No one watches that show. The only reason I'm aware of that is because Funky Dineva talked about for a couple seconds. Last but not least LOL no one is bothered about a penniless man. But hey if you call taking care of a flat broke man healthy who am I to judge. Do whatever makes you happy,
Have you ever wondered about MTV and how it became as big as it is today? The reason for this is that it has been around a while and your parents may have even watched it when they were younger. So, they have a little experience in how to draw young teens to watch their programs. MTV got its big start and revolutionized television as modern viewers know it today.
“The police and law enforcement — they know who these people are. They live with these people. They get mocked by these people,” he said. “They can't do anything about these people, and they want to. They know who these people are. Day one, my first hour in office, those people are gone.”
Let’s see, FOX philosophy; Republican party is the only true rulers of this nation. Democrats are socialists. Homosexuality is bad. Organized religion is good, except when the pope speaks out. Gretchen Carlson is rebellious and does not follow the directions of the master of FOX. Black people and other minority groups should not own weapons while (angry) white people can. A black president is a error in history and will not be spoken off again.

Thanks to Jane Moffat, I discovered a wonderful show last year called Backstage TV, and from the moment I watched it, I was hooked. As I began to examine the people involved with the show, I discovered a wealth of talent of which I was previously unaware, and one of those people happens to be Kate Hewlett. This is a woman who has truly "done it all," or practically has, and I was thrilled when she took some time recently to answer a few questions about her career within the entertainment universe.
Police Reform should be one of the many issues handled in the first one-hundred days of our new President’s term. The unrest and corruption are actions that do not belong in our police force. The criminal justice system needs revised. Since 1791 Americans have lost 20,789 officers killed in the line of duty (Law Enforcement Facts 1). To modernize this statistic, from 2004-2013 an average of 151 officers have died in the line of duty (Deaths,
