Why do you believe your background and experience make you the best fit for Fluvanna County Public Schools?

My goal is that my education will prepare me to become a serviceable member of society by using my abilities in order to help lead the improvement of the community. This is my goal because I personally fill that as humans we should try to use our lives to make society a better place than when we arrived.

Being a leader involves more than simply holding a title; it also entails setting an example for others, creating positive changes, and inspiring people to follow you. Whether it is organizing events, leading teams on projects, volunteering, or being a supportive team member, I am naturally adept at leadership. For instance, I am currently

Leadership comes with great responsibility, I personally have never experience being a leader. However, I believe that I don’t need to be a leader to be successful, instead I am always willing to work hard with other people and achieve any goal as a whole(team). Although, I consider myself as a great problem solver, and also very responsible according to the effort I put in every little thing that I do. In the past, I have helped the leaders organize and help them to achieve a goal. I gave my hundred percent in anything I do.

Firstly, in my Academic Career, I have held a multitude of leadership roles. My sophomore year , I was a class representative for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, commonly known as FCCLA. It was my duty to alert members and keep them up to date regarding meetings and activities. As a representative of FCCLA, I learned how to work as a unit leader and a team member.That same school year, I ran for the district office of secretary for FCCLA. The nomination and election process, gave me the opportunity to grow and nurture my leadership abilities. It was eminently challenging; but I learned the importance of discipline and hard work. Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time.

The goals are a personal investment of my time, commitment, and effort in planning for my future. My goals represent a clear path with a timeframe to achieve my goals, such as completing my bachelor’s degree, attending workshops for advancing my technological skills, and obtaining a higher level position in my current workplace or finding new employment.

Leadership is using your experience to develop and influence people towards: becoming highly trained, well-rounded individuals, capable of creative thinking, and accomplishing any goal while taking care of each other in the process. I worked for a Chief, when I was a first class, who had the most amazing report with everyone in our shop. He made it a point to have a small conversation each morning with the people in our shop that showed he cared about them and the people in their lives. I was enabled to develop and manage the worklist for our shop, and he would touch base with me every day and give me feedback regularly. If anyone in the shop ever needed to talk to him, he was always readily available, or made himself available quickly. He encompassed the ideal mentor that we all hope to work for. A leader is someone that exerts extraordinary dedication to all of their responsibilities and they can also influence a group to have a common goal. Throughout my life, I have encountered the chance to experience many different positions of leadership. Being involved in many different school organizations taught me a lot about the leadership qualities that I didn’t know I had. I have been the leader of multiple school organizations, but I think my most important leadership role I have taken on has been being someone that people can look up to. I take everything that I do very seriously and many people respect that. “What goals have I set for myself?” It is my hope that by obtaining my degree that I will not only meet the requirement of my work, but to supersede it. Although my position was contingent upon returning to school I would like to continue my education to advance myself as far into the Early Childhood Education field as possible.

Based on the number of books and articles written about discovering lifetime goals, it appears that determining and setting goals must be difficult for most people – but it’s not difficult for me. My lifetime goals are to improve the well-being, quality of life, and happiness for my family, my fellow human beings, and myself. I want to realize the goals of lifelong learning and growth. Maxwell once said, “A leader is someone who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” Leadership is not a position, a title or being the boss, it’s about creating leaders amongst your followers. My point of view on leadership comes from a perfect example in the New Testament “Jesus Christ.” In Matthew 4:18-22, Jesus choose his first disciples. They had one thing in common, they were all fishermen (skills approach). Then, that strong foundation lead to the calling of those of a different character such as Matthew, who worked in Rome in the collection of Roman taxes and Simon the Zealot who was an ardent Jewish nationalist (Transformational Leadership).
