A manager in today’s business place, no matter what industry they work in, they will need to have a passion for what they are doing and their role as a manager. Managers will need to find that passion to learning the environment they are in and adjust to their new surrounding changes. Any ambiguity needs to be handled with adaptation. Managers will find they need to change their way of thinking in the changing environment and their viewpoints on the job will need some restructuring. Sometimes they need to challenge themselves to see if even they are flexible in changing with the environment and what are some areas of their management styles that they need to work on that will reach the budget goals and outcome needed by the different areas inside the business they manage.
This is a question about how I feel about having a manager’s responsibility, and although I am not a manager, I answer it with the idea of how managers in general need to think or may need to feel about their position when changes or threats from the environment come at them. This is how I would handle it or try to grow with it, if I were in a manager’s position with these types of responsibilities in the midst of the uncertainty. If I were in a

The threads of my leadership style have been influenced by my personal work experience and my time in practicum. Throughout my experiences I have been exposed to many different types of personal and corporate styles of leadership that I have been able to evaluate and reflect on to judge their effectiveness and take away key concepts that I have applied to my own leadership style. Chief among these is understanding the concept that over reaching change and improvement is a team effort that requires being open to input from all different members of the health care team. My personal philosophy of leader ship is heavily influenced by my bird type which is a dove. Doves tend to be natural team players that like to collaborate and work as a team towards a goal.
Managers have to bring changes into a company because some of the old ways of doing order or working with employees need to change. The manager responsibility is to make sure the changes which the company is implementing are done at a right pace and all the employees know the reason for the change. Some people at an organization are use to one way and not want to settle for anything they are not use to. It is up to the manager to change the minds of the individuals who do not want to make the change. The manager has to show the older way of the company is in need of change and if they do not change, it
Management styles are wide and varied across the entire world of work. The specific type of management that works for one particular set of workers does not always work for another group of employees. I knew that management was something I was mentally programed for from a young age. May of 2000 was the summer going into my sophomore year of high school and I was venturing into my first tax-paying job at Sonic. I liked the structure it had, compared to the odd summer jobs I had been picking up in the past. From the ripe age of 16, I had already began the process of evaluating personnel, process’s for improvements, and trying to create a safer work environment for myself and those around me. With the start of my senior year quickly approaching, I was already balancing sports, grades, college applications, and now my employer was asking me to step up from a shift leader to assistant manager. I always had the thoughts, if I were the manager I would do this or I would do that. The same thoughts everyone else was having, except I wasn’t saying unrealistic comments like; we would have two-hour lunches and I wouldn’t make anyone work Friday nights. I was looking at how personnel were used and how their strengths were not being maximized. I was critiquing the processes that had been in place well before I came around, that had never been questioned. I was young and had big plans for my future that didn’t include anything to do with management. At the time, I never knew I was starting to develop skill sets that would help me reach goals in my current career.
