AUDIENCE As stated before, the target audience for Cheap Thrillz Cosmetics is young people because they are some of the biggest consumers in the world. Young people are also the most gullible when it comes to advertisement because they believe everything on the internet. In addition to reaching young people, I want my products to reach people who are in their late 30s to early 40s. One of the landing pages will cater to people who are older. I will also sell anti-aging creams and serums to grab the attention of older customers. I want my products to appeal to all races and genders. Therefore, I will make sure that I sell makeup products that can suit many different skin tones. Most cosmetic brands do not cater to all races and this is their biggest flaw. In order to make money, a cosmetic brand must be willing to expand its horizons and try to reach everyone. It is difficult to make money if the company only caters to white, young females. I do not want anyone to be excluded on my website because that is not a wise move to make. I will emphasize the importance of creativity and self-expression on my website because I want to people to understand why makeup is an art. There is a misconception that people wear makeup in order to feel secure, but this notion is completely false. Many people wear makeup to express themselves and experiment with different looks. Moreover, makeup can be worn by any gender due to that fact that it is an art. I do not believe that makeup was
White companies and white faces with white products…white. With the population of America containing thirty-seven million African and African-Americans, racism is not only discriminatory but also is socially submerged within the terms of “beauty” (Bureau of labor statistics). Women in history have been seen as inferior to men; now, in the twenty-first century, women have been subcategorized in racial boundaries including color being the most prominent divider. As the famous Shakespeare said, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” In most 21st century companies the owners of major cosmetic brands such as Too Faced and Benefit are owned and founded by white individuals, which makes sense because the promotional models are mostly white.
Have you ever thought about who created makeup? Or how it was created? When, where and how? Why was it created? How has it changed over time? Has it affected anyone? In 180 BCE was when makeup had first had started but it wasn’t commonly used as much as then. People would limit the use of makeup because it was so expensive and hard to get and or find. The women who actually had it or used it were the prostitutes and the wealthier women. The “Cheap Knockoff’s” were the ones who were sold to the poorer women. They argue to make the New Yorker and visitors engage with New York. These actions cause lots of problems, but also benefits. Makeup in art is considered fashion and fashion should pass on as time passes

(“Color Them Extraordinary With a Makeup Career”) I believe that makeup artists have the ability to create anything out of anyone, and that they have a unique canvas to paint on; the human body. Applying and learning about makeup has been an interest of mine ever since I was little, and it only made sense to start looking into a career in the world of makeup artistry. Makeup artistry as a career interests me because I’d wake up knowing that my job for the day is exercising my creativity and help make others feel confident. If one is truly interested in makeup, this career never feels like a job. (Clark)
Throughout time the world’s perception of makeup has always been seen as a way for women to enhance their facial features, a way to feel more accepted into society, and as a way to gain the attention of another individual. Society has set specific standards that women and only women can wear makeup. Although in theater productions it was socially acceptable for men to paint their faces, it was not encouraged that men use their cosmetic abilities outside of performances. Many cultures have drilled the idea into their son’s heads that they cannot wear or play with makeup because they would lose their masculinity. Applying makeup was never seen as a way of self expression, but that a woman's natural beauty wasn’t good enough and that her

Cosmetics was my own yellow paint. Growing up with a mole in the center of my left cheek was burdensome. With one glance, the first detail I assume others remember about me is that very mark on my cheek that is quite difficult to miss. I used to apply layers of makeup on early in the morning before school. Hours away from when school actually starts, I’m situated at my vanity with the various products of artificial beauty laid out in front of me: concealer, foundation, powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, highlight. Because my grandmother did not believe in makeup, I would utilize my own lunch money to purchase them. This makeup was my mask, concealing my flaws and hiding my natural beauty. It didn’t do anything for my confidence because that mask only made me feel
Makeup application has become a popular topic in this generation. The creative ways makeup can be used is very interesting to watch and the way products can transform people is truly incredible. There are constantly makeup videos trending on the internet, and the amount of views they receive is astronomical. When scrolling through social media, there are countless makeup tutorials showing all different ways to do makeup. Makeup in itself has become very trendy over the last five years, but some people are taking it to the extremes. Make-up has been incorporated into their daily routine and it has become a routine for others to see them in make-up. To my subjects, being bare-faced took away their self-esteem. They felt like they had more confidence and beauty whenever they had make-up on. Since I also wear make-up, I had a similar attitude believing that it gave me the self-esteem that I do not have without make-up. This observation has helped me to recognize that natural beauty is something that we all forget about. Every person should be able to be comfortable in their own skin without wearing relying on make-up and realize that confidence comes from
