Marketing is a essential part of a business because it helps to control the way that goods or services are sold. When marketing a specific product or service it is crucial to be well informed in all aspects of marketing, which include the marketing mix, marketing strategy, target market in which you will offer your product and the environmental factors that could effect how your product is received, including social and cultural difference, competition, economic and technological aspects. During my market research which I conducted on other products available that are similar to mine (Competition) I discovered that the leading competitions brand had dropped ins ales, due to customers being displeased with the marked up prices the company recently introduced. Realizing that with the information I have gathered during my market research how I price my product will have a great influence on the success of its sales. Promotion is vital to a company's success due to the fact that, if the public doesn't know that a product exists how will they buy it? Since my product is new to the market, and there is a very close competitive brand available currently on the market, I have decided to promote my product using a marketing communication of public relations and advertisements. I would also like to use mobile marketing, as Charmin Toilet paper used in 2002. Mobile marketing, although becoming trendier in recent years is really a ?hidden? process of advertisements and promotion. Mobile marketing is basically a traveling promotional tour that brings the brand to consumers.
