On the series "Married at First Sight," the three couples are on their honeymoon after marrying as soon as they met at the altar. The marriage is legally binding, but after eight weeks the couples will decide if they want to stay married or get a divorce. A husband and wife have already indicated that they prefer not staying together, and this decision was made while honeymooning in St. Croix.
Which couple wants to call it quits?
On the second day of their honeymoon, Nate Duhon, 26, told Sheila Downs, 30, that his younger brother was going to be living with them. To viewers' surprise, Sheila said that's fine because they are all family now. Sheila accepted that news. That wasn't what upset her while getting to know her new husband on their honeymoon, though.
When Nate and Sheila went jet skiing, they found out that they are not compatible after all.

She is beginning to think it is because of their age difference.
Nate's assessment of his marriage
A second argument occurred when Nate and Sheila played ping pong. Sheila accused Nate of being too competitive during the game. Later when Sheila refused to hold his hand, Nate felt disrespected and said he doesn't have it in him to stay with Shelia. After that second argument about an activity, Nate said he is changing his mind about Sheila. He said the future of their marriage is not looking too good.
Some people on social media seem to think that even though Sheila said it was fine for Tyree to live with them, she is probably thinking about the situation in the back of her mind, and her resentment is coming out through the activities with Nate.
The preview for Thursday's episode shows Nate and Sheila arguing. Sheila cries and leaves the room. Nate is heard talking to the cameras saying he doesn't think he will stay married to his new wife that he has previously gushed
Emotionally wrecked and scarred, Nathan confessed to his mother that he needed out of Alford J. Mapp and into W.E. Waters for sake of his mental stability. It was apparent that in W.E. Waters was where Nate would be accepted and treated like
Thirdly is Gerald Croft. Gerald is Sheila’s fiancé. He is of a slightly higher class than the Birlings and this could be one of the reasons for their engagement. However it seems that the main reason for their engagement is to do with the combining of Mr Birling’s and Gerald's father's businesses. He seems to be a generally decent man but it appears that he his not all he seems to be. Until that night it seemed that they were very much in love. Sheila mentions that last year during the summer, Gerald wouldn’t go near her, saying that he was: “... awfully busy at the works all that time.” This was partially true, but it then is revealed that he was also having an affair with Eva
The inspector shows another side to Sheila’s character, her gentle side. Perhaps Sheila can be separated from the rest of the family because; she is the only one, apart from Eric who is able to accept responsibility for her actions. Also, when Gerald’s affair is revealed, Sheila is expected by her parents to forgive his behaviour and carry on as though nothing had happened. Sheila disagrees and returns her engagement ring. This shows how much Sheila changed from her old self.
The third concept we choose to write on is Terminating. According to the book Looking Out Looking In, terminating is the stage where relationships deteriorate until they reach their final stage. Not all relationships end, many of the marriages last for a lifetime, but other relationships have the desire to dissociate. (Alder, 2012) Like it was the case of the movie, Brooke decides to terminate the relationship because she felt that there is nothing much left. She believed that Gary did care much about her. But the problem really was that both of them didn’t find a way to communicate effectively. Although Brooke and Gary loved each other very much it was impossible for them to be together because of the lack of communication.
returned to her home leaving Aubrey with her Grandma. Aubrey now has to make the biggest choice
However, the dialogue picks up again, and the bitterness continues. After she exits, they all talk to each other, pretty much asking, “what the heck was that all about?”
for Nathan’s sake. Things in the marriage and relationship seemed to be going in a positive
In this play we can notoriously see that Gerald is a selfish person, who wants to marry Sheila not only because of business, also because she is pretty. He does not care about other people; a clear example is that he cheated on Sheila with Eva Smith. Gerald is not committed to his relationship, this is shown when he unsuccessfully tries to hide that he had known Eva. In the end, his efforts make the revelation ruder. He does not care about Sheila's feelings and he has not gained a new sense of social responsibility, understanding that he, too, was part of the events that led Eva’s suicide. This is why Sheila is unsure whether to take back the engagement ring or not. Croft’s family has a very high status in society, and since being in business with the Birlings would not necessarily be good for their company, Gerald is engaged to Sheila because he wants to. His parents are not happy as they think she is not good enough for Gerald and because
However, instead of coming to a resolution, they enter the social support process by telling their friends about their problems. (This shows that Gary and Brooke lack of communication with each other and might possibly lead to a breakup.)From their conversation, we could infer the conflict management style the protagonists predominately adopt. Brooke seems to take on the competing style as she puts the blames on Gary, hoping that Gary will change and “he’s gonna come home and apologize.” Initially, Gary avoided conflict by moving into the living room. He then wilfully irritates Brooke with his behaviours, expressing his disagreement in an indirect manner that shuts down discussion. This puts them in a demand-withdrawal sequence, where Brooke makes demand on Gary to apologize, and Gary avoids it by withdrawing. As they each “punctuate” the cause of the conflict differently, they blame the other party for their behaviours. However, when Gary tries to salvage the situation, Brooke makes it difficult by embarrassing him publicly during the couple bowling competition. They even attack each other family members by using the information disclosed in their earlier stage of the relationship, thus
All's not well maybe in the paradise of Sandra Smith and John Connolly who once did have a happily ever after. But seems like it did get a pause with a big big full stop.If reports are to be believed the couple is not at all happy with each other but well they are just reports. Just reports.
Later that night when Blake and his brother, Quinn got home, they were greeted by an unexpected guest. It was their mom’s newest boyfriend. He stood beside their mom. Him and Blake’s mom wanted to announce something together. Quinn and Blake didn’t trust this guy and were most appalled to find out that the announcement was their mom and her boyfriend, Russ’s engagement. Quinn and Blake talked about it a little later, but only got themselves into an argument over it.
2. Friends and family are supposed to helpful during a break up. In this movie Gary and Brooke’s friends and family were supportive and non-supportive. Brooke’s sister was her main support during the break up. Even though her brother did stop over to the condo with his singing friends, just to add fuel to the fire. Gary had his bar buddy to support him; yeah his ideas were not the greatest, when he mentioned they need to get someone neither of them knows to “handle” the problem.
With this ring I thee wed…. For better or worse, for richer or poorer…. Traditionally, two people speak these words on their wedding day, the day that two become one, the day that two people begin a life together and share an unbreakable union. This may be so in some cases but not all. Divorce among Americans is rampant. In society today divorces are as common as marriages themselves. Couples meet, date, fall in love, marry, and have children and then one day: Wham! Something is just not right with the relationship anymore, so they opt for the easy way out, the big "D". They get a divorce, is this really the easy way? The legalities and dissolution of the union may be easy and painless,
Brooke takes over the cooking and cleaning, given that she has far higher standards than Gary regarding the tidiness of the apartment and what she is willing to eat. Gary refuses to amend his habits and simply accepts
when she asks "what need one?". They knew this would cause him to leave either house as he had too much pride to agree.
