I have never seen the children unsupervised while playing outside Marshae keeps a good eye on them. Marshae is drug and alcohol free and her home is safe for the kids to live in. I feel like the kids are well taken care
It is very important to let children asses’ danger for themselves in a secure environment. It is not good for them to be cooped up and have somebody tell them that one thing is bad and will hurt them and another will keep them safe they need to identify these things for themselves to enable them to live a positive life as an adult and to gain confidence in themselves and their own abilities. At the same time the children need to be given this chance in a safe and secure place whereby I as the carer know they will not come into any danger.

The nursery promised they had done all the legal checks required by the law this was later proven to be true by the police but the damage Due to the incident involving Miss George was already done and quite a few members of society lost faith in the schools and nursery’s which in turn had a huge impact on the businesses which owned them many children were removed from them for a time until society were more confident to return their children to the nursery’s.

EREPORT # 18782 stated the following: The incident happened on 1/20/2016, evening. Joshua stated that his adoptive mother choked him when he accidentally closed the door on her foot in the doorway. I observed Harper, a 23 month old little girl that is full of energy. Also participating in the interaction with Harper was her mother and five year old sister, Mya. Harper is very friendly and outgoing. She is very interested “reading books” and loves to be read to. She enjoys helping her mother clean and do simple tasks. She seems to be very confident with and without her mother in her sight. Harper’s father is not actively involved in her life because he lives in another state.
It is important to ensure children and young people are protected from harm within the setting, as the parents are leaving their children in your care with the expectation that they can trust you and your colleagues to keep their children from harm. It is difficult for parents to leave their children in an education or care setting and then go to work; they need to be confident that their children will be in safe supportive hands with people that will help them develop.
The following project, will address the case of Rita and Christiana C . after concern was provided by a neighbor, who reported that 2 years-old, Christina, seemed underweight, neglected and presented facial bruises. She is cared by her currently unemployed single 19 year old mother, Rita C., in a one bedroom apartment in a lower-income neighborhood of Pleasantville, CA. Under these circumstances, a caseworker was assigned by Child Protective Services to visit the home in order to identify the potential impacts and implications for the developmental growth of Christina C. In order to advise Judge Thompson, this project will focus on providing careful explanations that describe the familial and parental characteristics of the socio-cultural environment that favor the removal of Christina from Rita 's custody, followed by the explanation of why the attachment between the parent and child provide reasons that are against the removal of Rita 's custody of Christina, to end on a recommendation on which course of action will best benefit the child.
Deborah Harrells’ case was something that didn’t have me worry because as an older sister I’ve let my 9 year old brother go to the outside of our apartments to play with other kids. All I am saying is that Yes I am aware that there might be strangers but also I know what is right and wrong. We should often review some emergency procedures in case anything might happen. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal to leave a 9 year old unattended especially if they have a phone with them. I don’t think anyone should be pointing fingers and think that Harell isn’t being a good parent. Everyone is different and they raise the children how they prefer as long as it’s not any type of abuse. We have to understand that these parents might be trying their best to be able to help their children succeed in
Therefore in this scenario, the LA have the duty to investigate the number of concerns which have come up about Ewan and Callum. The red flags in this scenario are that Ewan, who is 9, and Callum, who is 13, have both suffered physically with bruises and a black eye. Both of their school attendances are poor and they have been acting aggressively during school. Ewan was also looking underweight and does not socialise with his friends. More concerns are that it is difficult getting into contact with their mother, Julie. The family house is not a healthy or happy environment as it is very untidy and dirty, Julie’s boyfriend also threatened the social worker Boris. Boris also stated that Julie was agitated which may indicate mental health problems or that she is a drug abuser. All this information is extremely alarming, therefore the LA have the duty of investigating this and protecting the children from harm.
Lee cites the stories of three foster care children; Elisa, who has been in foster care over a decade, has been abused both mentally and physically and had two adoptions fall through; Three year old Thierry who the courts have yet to determine whether he should have been separated from his mother eighteen months ago; and Alexandria, wasn’t cleared for an adoption by her foster parents of four years and remains a foster child.
Martin Proctor, a father of two, was recently accused of abusing his baby and eight-year- old daughters, placing them in Highland District Hospital. The children then were transferred to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital later being released and put under the care of Child Protective Services and placed in foster homes. During the stay at the hospital, the children had fractures of several bones, placed into a coma after having several seizures, and doctors found evidence of previous abuse. The father is currently held on a “50,000 bond and his case will go before a jury in the upcoming weeks. (Abernathy, 2017) The major questions that are being raised regarding the children’s safety are: are the children getting the proper care to help their
