The two bigger things I plan to continue working on with Aaron are his social skills and his anxiety. Together, him and I will continue working on positive social skills and how to interact with others. He is not one that enjoys role play. He would much rather just sit and talk. I would also like to keep working on art projects or any hands on project where he can write things down. This way, we are not just discussing out loud what to work on, but we are writing it down or drawing pictures which helps us to think about the things we are working on in other ways as well. It is one thing to talk about it, but it is another to draw pictures or write it down. His poor social skills and his grades create a lot of anxiety in his life, so I plan to keep working on different coping skills with him. He has informed me in the past that his favorite coping skills is counting to ten. We have been going over breathing and counting to ten when he is anxious. As of now, he needs a lot of reminders to breathe use a coping …show more content…
He lost the aide that used to help him in his classes, which causes him a lot of anxiety because he no longer has that extra support in the classroom, so I will be giving him encouragement and support the best that I can. He still has very good grades even though his aide is no longer with him. I will also continue to assess his behaviors with the others that work with him such as the mental health specialist, his social skills teacher, and his emotional support teacher. These individuals know Aaron pretty well and are also able to understand his behaviors so they are the perfect people to talk to. They are able to see him in situations that cause him stress and talk with him about it. They can help me identify different behaviors they are seeing in him and what situations are causing him to feel anxious or more
Day 1: Do you believe that it is genetics, environment or both that determine behavior? I believe that it is a mixture of both, but primarily it is your environment that helps determine what type of person you are. I think everyone can be taught to behave in a certain way, I know this for a fact since my five children all have different personalities, but are some of the most well-behaved kids you can meet. Additionally, being in the military for twelve years, I met people from all over the United States, and it is astonishing how depending on where you were raised can change your opinions on many different topics. I also say it is something you are born with because I can see more traits of me in one kid over the other.
I observed Aaron at school and at home for his social and emotional development. Socially Aaron is able to interact with the children appropriately to his age. I noticed that he does have friends and is not isolated at recess. He plays with children his own age and is included in the activities on the playground. Aaron has no problems expressing his feeling toward the
We needed an individual who had the skill set(s) to teach computer skills to both adults and youth and help them use those skills to advance further in their academic or employment pursuits (Computer Instructor). We need interns that can assist students with their homework and preparing them for the ACT or SAT examination, which could determine where they would, admitted into college (Educational Consultant).

I would ensure that issues which are creating a problem in the work group are discussed within the group by creating a friendly and safe environment where people feel safe to speak out. If there are shy people in the group I will make one-on-one meetings to motivate them and make sure that their voice is also heard as well. I would make sure that it is important to bring up the issue discussions which make the group dynamic strong. I would also make sure that everyone brings up their issues and let them know that it is so important to discuss all the issues and work together which helps the team in achieving their goaIs. The manager can bring unspoken conflicts into open without making them worse by motivating the individuals to bring out what problems
This is my last project for FST 220: 3D Computer Graphics. I made a Toy monkey based off of the one in Toy Story 3. This project involved the use of box modeling and texturing. I started with a cube and formed the torso until it matched with the reference pictures. After I made the torso, I extruded faces to make the arms and legs. For the fingers and toes, I used the Insert Edge Loop tool to make more faces and extruded them individually. The head was extruded and vertices moved to make the shape of the head and ears. The eyes and cymbals were modeled separately. For the textures, I applied a cloth material on the torso of the body as well as the pants. The arms, head, and feet have a noise material on them, while the face is a standard Blinn material. Part of the assignment was to make a scene with your project with a background and other objects in the scene. I decided to make a scene where the toy monkey is placed with other toys.

What do you do with a depressed, unconfident, antisocial ADD child? He’s not doing well at school, turning a cold shoulder to potential friends, and can't even look someone in the eye when being addressed. This question is one that plagued me throughout my school career. I was the unconfident, depressed, antisocial ADD child and, in a matter of fact, I was deemed a problem child, someone who needed a special class for help, and someone who would, ultimately, fail in life. I accepted this as fact. How could I not? Society deemed me as a failing out cast and I gladly accepted the role. Until my Junior year of highschool.
I noticed almost immediately that he was putting forth an effort to complete all of his work both in class and outside of class. I also noticed that in the spot that I moved him to in the classroom, his behavior seemed to improve. I think that the reason his behavior showed improvement was because he was so close to me throughout the class time. He knew that I was watching his behavior both inside of class as well as outside of
His goals are to learn social skills, be able to manage his emotions and behaviors, develop healthy relationships, and locate his biological family.
