Mission, Goals, Objectives, and/or Core Values
Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. There are 10 values that were written when the company first started and is continued to be used today.
One value is to focus on the user and all else will follow. Since the beginning, Google focused on providing the best user experience possible. They take great care to ensure that they will ultimately serve their customers, rather than their own internal goal or bottom line. Placement in search results is never sold to anyone, and advertising is not only clearly marked as such, it offers relevant content and is not distracting.
Google believes that it’s best to do one thing really, really well. With one of the world’s largest research groups focused exclusively on solving search problems, they know what they do well, and how they could do it better. Through continued iteration on difficult problems, they have been able to solve complex issues and provide continuous improvements to a service that already makes finding information a fast and seamless experience for millions of people. Their dedication to improving search helps them apply what they’ve learned to new products. They hope to bring the power of search to previously unexplored areas, and to help people access and use even more of the ever-expanding information in their lives.

For one thing, Google, like the railroad in its time, is an important part of how people interact with each other today. People use Google to digitally meet with others, communicate, and even sell things. Multiple people are affected by Google each day. 87% of people have claimed to use the internet in 2016 (Anderson). To add onto this the number of people who don’t use the internet has been decreasing since 2000.
Google has run into many different issues in trying to expand itself internationally in an effort to increase its market share. Google has been viewed by many countries as a threat to their cultural values and norms. Many people feel that by allowing Google to have free reign in their countries will allow them to impose the Anglo-Saxon outlook on a variety of different topics, like history, pop-culture, and even fashion. Many European and Asian countries are combating Google a few different ways to ensure that their culture is not diluted by American society. Aims of the school may be short statements like instilling a thirst for lifelong learning in children or giving pupils the confidence to take up opportunities when they are offered. the values of a school represent the moral code that links it with its local community and informs expected behaviors and attitudes of pupils the children are valued by the school its staff and by each other should be seen very clearly in the way that the learning and development culture is celebrated by the school from posters and displays. Children should be encouraged to learn together and to collaborate with each other and with staff members so that their learning becomes positive and effective way. 3. Is that Threat from the government-sponsored search engines, real or imagined? What can Google do to secure its dominance in those countries? What can Google learn from those experiences to guide its entry strategy for other countries?
Interests: Google got famous for its seemingly rigid adherence to utopian ideals. If it turns out to be false, harsh criticism will be unavoidable, which may lead to reduced revenue.
As we can infer from the table above, Google‘s mission is consistent with its objectives in terms of how they complement each other. In its mission, Google promises to organize the world’s information and make it available for everyone to access. On the other hand, Google’s first objective is to provide information independent of any financial incentives. Moreover, they clearly state that their profits are mainly derived from advertising while information providing is for free. Google focuses on improving its operation by achieving higher quality products in order to better satisfy consumers, while the objectives precisely states that Google will employee all potential technological developments to improve users’ experience.
