Movie Analysis : Cinderella, And Being Fascinated

Ever since I was a little girl, I was surrounded by all things Disney. I can remember watching my first movie, Cinderella, and being fascinated by the animations, storyline and characters. It may sound cliché but it made me feel so delighted and that all of my problems had simply disappeared. At first, it didn’t occur to me how much an impact that Disney left in my life until I noticed how much I was surrounded by the culture. A part of me will always include my Disney side and it has taught me to become young at heart, have a positive outlook on life and to strive for a goal. Walt Disney said “Too many people grow up. That’s the real trouble with the world…They forget. They don’t remember what it’s like to be 12 years old.” Whether it was watching Disney movies, shows, or even going for a Disneyland trip, it allowed me to become young at heart. Every time I’m asked what do I love or what my hobbies are, all Disney related things come to mind. Because some people expect me to be more of an adult, the answer I will most likely get is, “Why? Isn’t Disney just for kids?” or “You should grow up.” But honestly, getting in touch with my Disney side lets me be myself and content. To me, the fairytales and magic that Disney has created in their theme parks and movies aren’t meant to be just limited to young children. Instead, they were also designed for the ones who are young at heart as Walt Disney said in his opening speech, “To all who come to this happy place: Welcome.
