The best television show made is any show that inspires people to follow their dream. There are many shows they were produced to do just this. They demonstrate that no matter how different you may be or where you’re from anything can be possible if you work hard enough. Motivating the youth as well as adult population to go after a career or passion. For this reason, no one show is the greatest of all time for the entire population. Each individual has a show that they admire and enjoy watching. This show should allow the person to forget all that’s on their mind and let them escape their reality for the short hour in which the productions airs. Ever since I was young, I have been watching tv shows like Burn Notice, Criminal Minds, NCIS, etc. It was always one of my interests. Ever since I started watching Criminal Minds, I have wanted to be a profiler. I want to because I enjoy the show, and I think it would be an interesting job. That is why I chose to do my I-Search paper on Criminal Behavior. My main question I want to focus on is “Why do criminals behave the way they do?”

The Twilight Zone and Full House are both two family sitcom television series expressing one group as a family to meet or reflect society. Full House, produced by Jeff Franklin, is a family who faces many struggles and obstacles that reflect many American’s in today’s society. The Twilight Zone, produced by Rod Serling, is a five season television series taken place in the 1950’s. This shows provides multiple genres in each episode followed by an unexpected plot twist leaving audiences thinking more in depth about the present time. Both television shows demonstrates family values and social norms to meet modern societies expectations through rationality.

Unfortunately, many African American individuals inhabit areas that display very tarnished living conditions, which includes violent criminals, illegal activities, and very low performing schools, better known as “ghettos”. Consequently, due to the disadvantages and low prosperity in these communities, many young adolescents or student’s education suffers a great deal. Education is one of the most powerful apparatuses to sever the hardships of poverty. The popular 70’s sitcom “Good Times” and modern day sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris”, are two perfect examples of two struggling African American families that values education because of their race, family structure, and family roles, which displays reflection of society.

Science plays a major role in the story line of NBC’s police-procedural drama, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit; more specifically, forensic science. From beginning to end, the characters depend on the use and their understanding of forensic science to uncover the mysteries of each examined case. The advancements in technology along with the psychological approach used by detectives to solve each case make the serious and critical role that science plays more than evident to the audience.

Many people consider a “redneck” a person who is easily ready to start a conflict. Some might say that they consider a redneck as trailer trash that allow themselves to get drunk at any time. However, people really could not tell the difference between country and a person that is trailer trash. Many people often look down upon the redneck hillbilly community, because of the meaning, how they portray rednecks shown in the media, and the history behind the community.

John is an antagonist of the story. He feels he is doing his wife good; by locking her away in this mansion. However, the reader soon realizes, this treatment is only worsening her mental state. There are over thousands of televisions shows that have come about in this century, but the two that come to mind as my favorite and that consist of significant ideas are “Dexter” and “Shameless.” As a matter of fact, when I am not in school I would binge watch these shows and finish a whole season in just one weekend. “Dexter” is crime-drama mystery show while “Shameless” is more of a comedy-drama. These shows consist of fantastic backgrounds and content, including amazing actors.

For this paper, I have chosen to analyze the sitcom That 70s Show. This show follows the lives of a group of teenage friends: Jackie, Donna, Hyde, Kelso, Eric, and Fez. The show addresses many social issues of the 1970s, including: Sexism, sexual attitudes, drug use, and the recession. It also highlights many of the inventions and developments of the entertainment industry, such as the remote control and Star Wars.

I decided to share about one of my favorite TV shows, The Office. I enjoy this show because there are so many different characters with unique personalities. Each character interacts with one another in their own personal ways. In this show, there is no character that is the same. Certain ones give a representation of how to communicate appropriately and others show an inappropriate way to communicate. The three characters that I have chosen to look closely at are, Michael, Dwight, and Jim. Michael is the boss of the paper company department, Dwight and Jim are sales representatives. Michael and Dwight are not very good at appropriately communicating with one another or with others in the office. Jim is one of the “normal” ones on the show.

She also believes that there is more than one way to solve a problem, and it doesn’t matter whose way is used, as long as the problem is solved. I take this piece of advice to heart, as I’ve been told that I am impatient and a bit of a control freak. John states that he tries his best to work out his own dilemmas because he knows that Cindy has a stressful full-time job, and she’s also a full-time mom to McKenna. Between her schedule and McKenna’s extra-curricular activities, John doesn’t like to add anything extra on her plate if he doesn’t need to. That, he says, is the reason he takes such a large role in McKenna’s activities. It brings a sense of peace to the home when he knows his wife and son’s needs are met.

Sitcoms have been one of the most popular and influential television genres for years on end. From some of the oldies like I Love Lucy to some of the more recent ones like New Girl , this genre succeeds in appealing to all people through eye catching drama, witty comedy, and lighthearted romance. Almost all viewers are guilty of singing their favorite theme songs or throwing out some popular catchphrases from some of their beloved characters on the show. The television show Friends, which aired in 1994, is still one of the most watched sitcoms in history. Even though the show ended in 2004, reruns still play on T.V and Netflix has even added the show to its database because of its undying popularity. Even a bit older than Friends, Full House aired its first episode in 1987 and its last in 1995. This shows popularity and influence prompted a continuation of the show, Fuller House, that is currently in production more than twenty years later. Both sitcoms of Friends and Full House demonstrate how the sitcom genre, along with the sub-genres associated with it has had and continues to have a tremendous influence on pop culture.
