Becoming an educator is very important to me. Not only am I building a relationship with children, but I am also building their brains for success. Attending school helps build my future career path and gives me the understanding of children. The position in education I would like to have is becoming a first-grade teacher working at an elementary school. The school I plan to work for is a public school meaning students are acknowledge for their independence. In this school environment, it has a lot of excitement and motivation. I have visited the school many times, and it makes you feel like you are at home. This school also provides after-care for students who needs to be watched while their parents are at work or doing something important. The after care at the school provides free tutoring, educational games, and a snack. While furthering my investigation on this career, I feel this job is a good fit for me because it provides motivation and it acknowledges you as a person. It helps provide all the satisfaction needed and more. The staff is well mannered and the facility is always clean.

These standards are passing the Praxis exam and participating in the state's formal teacher evaluation system to get a Professional Certificate. Also,certain hours are required which are three hours of Child Behavior and Development, Curriculum for Early Childhood Education, Teaching Reading at the Elementary Level, 9 hours divided between Math, Science, and Social Studies, and 3 hours of Practicum in Early Childhood Education. These standard are important in my field of philosophy because there is a guarantee I will get all the certain qualifications to become a first-grade teacher if the right steps are
My life has been influenced greatly by teachers. Since I was a child, teaching is all I wanted to do. My mother is a fifth grade teacher. I have quite a few friends that are teachers. I have been fortunate to be influenced by some great teachers throughout my academic career. I love to be around kids and I like participating in the process of learning. I appreciate learning even today. I enjoy the learning process and hope to one day influence students in the future. I hope to one day become a high school social studies teacher. I enjoy history and geography, and I especially love politics and discussing current events. I like class discussions and letting different opinions express themselves.
For me, the decision to become a teacher is more of a way of life than a career. I have always loved school, practicing at being school marm from a young age, and voraciously devouring every shred of education offered me in my career as a student. If it were possible, I would be a student for the rest of my life. And then I still would not have learned enough. As a teacher, I hope to instill this appetite for knowledge in secondary students. They are, after all, the future leaders of the world, and what better place to expand the minds of the generations to come than here in Appalachia where education programs, especially the sciences, which I plan to teach, are poorly funded and children’s dreams
Education entails individual human development in the cognitive, emotional, creative and social areas. All children are entitled to a free education regardless of race, cultural background or handicaps. For education to be an effective part of the students life, the student and teacher must be actively and enthusiastically involved in learning. A teacher needs to be well prepared and organized. They need to know the perspective goals for each student and ways to achieve these goals. Teachers need to work with students to help them grow and develop ways to use their knowledge.
Education is inevitable. It is all around us because we can learn from virtually anything. When you are cooking, dancing, talking or any other activity you have actually had to learn several things to be able to do them. In the educational perspective, I am a pragmatist and I tend to follow after Dewey's footsteps. The concept of Pragmatism is one that developed in the 20th century. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning should involve real-life situations. Learning becomes more concrete to a student when they apply it to real-life situations, as where learning things that do not connect to them has more of an abstract sense. My philosophy of education and my personal goals and theories about how students are empowered through their educational experience revolve around the student-centered, interactive approach to instruction and learning. My goal as an educator is to create a learner-focused environment that promotes the basic literacy skills - reading, writing, listening, speaking and thinking. Children are readers, writers, and thinkers who need language to question and understand. They become members of literate communities using language in real ways for real purposes.
My philosophy of education has evolved from working with students and different educational programs. In order to have a philosophy on education, the term education should be defined. Education is a process that involves reasoning and synthesizing new concepts and information. Education does not take place in confined boundaries. Education should be a continual growth process. For the purposes of this essay, the primary focus will be on my philosophy of education within the framework of the school systems.
My personal philosophy of education encompasses the rights and responsibilities of the student, the parents, the teacher and the community. Each of these entities are directly responsible for the successful education of the student.
School. What is school? School is something where kids go five days a week to learn
Education what is it? Is it only, how it is defined, as the imparting and acquiring of knowledge through teaching and learning? Is education only something you receive in a school. Education to me begins at birth; a journey that has begun, as you experience new things you learn and grow mentally and emotionally. By the time a child begins school they have learned a multitude of things which include a number of things like walking, speaking, listening this is just the beginning of their learning career. My beliefs are that all children can learn they have a right to be educated and be safe in the environment in which they learning in are, these things are a must.
I believe that every child has the ability to learn, but it takes a good teacher to be able to bring this ability out. This is a role I would like to take. I believe the purposes of education are necessary for the child to live a successful life. In my opinion, the school's goals should begin with providing students the necessary knowledge and experiences to help contribute to our society. And it will be a very important goal for me to help my students succeed any where they go.
My philosophy is based on progressivism, a student-centered philosophy. Progressivism is based around real world experiences. It allows students curiosities to be tested and answers the concerns they may have about the world around them. Curriculum is based on life's experiences and students experimenting to get the right answer. Books are used to enhance the world but are not the main source of information.
A teacher is a combination of the most important professions in the world: doctor, mother, philosopher, motivational speaker, scientist, counselor, and so much more. Besides a child’s parents, an educator is the biggest influence in a child’s life. A student’s educational experience is what molds many of the events of their future, which is why I want to become a teacher. I want to be a mold for younger generations, and I hope for students to remember a knowledgeable and ethical teacher.
Education is the process of learning that can take place anywhere and at any time. I believe that creativity and activity as well as books and lessons are essential to the learning process. As a teacher, I hope to instill in the children a sense of knowledge and self-worth that will remain with them throughout their lives.
If the best of us will be teachers and the rest something else, then I hope the best of us will also be students. I believe we are all students and I expect I will learn as much from my students as they will learn from me. I hope more than anything though, that my students will value the simple act of obtaining knowledge more than worrying about getting every graded detail correct. If a student cannot enjoy the learning process, they are not going to truly learn the subject content. There are certainly distinct pieces of knowledge that all students need. Students may not always enjoy absorbing these pieces of knowledge, but hopefully there will be individualized interests that make the process easier. I
No society has ever survived without some system of education. Education is, perhaps, the most important of all social systems because it enables all the others by training individuals for their social roles. Still, it is a system which is far too complicated to perfect or even define. What is the “best” way to teach? What knowledge is it necessary for an “educated” person to attain? Should an education for one be the same as for another? In such an individual-centered field, the answers to these questions are as varied as the individual teachers, students, and others themselves.
