Engineering and specifically mechanical engineering has been a passion of mine since my youth. Coming from a city in India which is known as the city of industry, I have always believed that my future was in engineering. As a part of my school’s holistic learning policy, they often arranged for industrial visit tours for exploring knowledge and making the student knowledgeable about how manufactured products play a part in our daily lives. I got the opportunity to do a project as a part of an industrial tour; I created a small portable hydro generator for lighting LED bulbs. Due to my passion toward engineering, I have chosen Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as a primary subject in my high school. Along with that, I passed a certificate course of I.C Engine in Industrial Training Institute.
After completing my high school, I was very curious about Mechanical Engineering and made the decision to get an outstandingly knowledgeable Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering through the reputed University.
In India I earned a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technical University, which is one of the best engineering institutes that gave me an opportunity to thoroughly explore the core area of Mechanical Engineering which also put a lot of focus on getting work experience. Few of those are Thermal Engineering, Fluid Power, Power Plant Engineering, Automobile Engineering, etc. Those courses have made my core concept of Mechanical Engineering very powerful. As a result, I have been one of a select few who passed all subjects with first trial without any backlogs. That success gave me more motivation to gain knowledge in the field of engineering, especially in Mechanical Engineering. That’s the reason, I have decided for further study to get my master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. By gaining a master in Mechanical Engineering, I will then be able to fully contribute to the world by implementing my knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
My time during my undergraduate years really helped me to grow as a person. I faced some family health issues during my second year, which affected my average for the year. But after that I came back stronger from that situation with the help of getting a
Reference book-Got to have 19,000 class hours or must go to school for it for 18-24 months mechanical engineering concerned primarily industrial application of mechanics and with products of tools, machinery, product.
Staring at engine components of a car as well as holding a smartphone with almost unbelievable thickness fascinated me in many ways indirectly leaded me into getting to know more through different sources about machines ranging from transportation to communication devices. Two years of A-level preparation, further solidified my interest in this area as I found myself very fond of learning mathematics, physics and mechanics in particular. In addition, my curiosity in the operation and dynamics of objects naturally influences my choice of degree, leading me towards Engineering as it is a discipline which satisfy my own interest and most probably bring out the best of me.
After completing my bachelors , I worked as an Design engineer in the field of Electrical where I was able to implement knowledge which I had gained from my Bachelors of Engineering. When I realized that my bachelor’s knowledge and skill was not able to address new problems, I decide to pursue my masters in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
In conclusion, I have found recently my given choice of what I would choose, as a future choice of study mainly as autonomy. This choice would be related to engineering, due to recent projects and opportunities I was given. Due to this it gave myself a spark of interest I would use to study and experiment in ways to change how we live so profusely in
The main focus of this paper is to articulate how I will proceed in my endeavor to become a world class engineering student and graduate with a degree in engineering.
therefore hope to advance my studies in Structural Engineering and Environmental Engineering in order to get
I have successfully earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from SUNY, University at Buffalo in September 2013, which opened avenues for me and led me to my first full-time job. Since graduation, I’ve been on a ceaseless path of learning from working as a Quality Engineer for a small manufacturing company called HDM Hydraulics to where I am now as an R&D Quality Engineer for New Product Development at Medtronic. My academic pursuits continued even after starting
I have also got the chance to get a lot of insight into the processes of casting and welding. In my final year I took Production Planning and Control & Maintenance Engineering as my elective so that I could get initiated into the field. I got to know the basic operations of different mechanical systems of the automobile like the I.C. engine, brakes, clutches, powertrain, transmission and differentials. A Master’s degree would allow me to delve deeper into individual aspects of Industrial Engineering by studying and examining them in greater detail and gain practical experience by way of relevant internships. Hence Master’s in Industrial Engineering became an obvious necessity.
Mathematics and physics are the main subjects involved in engineering and they have made the course even more interesting to me. I am looking forward to apply the concepts that I have learned from these subjects and I can certainly jump deeper into the world of physics and mathematics by attaining a degree in mechanical engineering. As the learning
A bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering is my selected major to study at Liverpool John Moores University. LJMU is one of the leading school in teaching a practical degree of Mechanical Engineering. This degree provides
With a strong background in math and physics, I made it to GITAM University- one of the premium professional institutes for Engineering in India. The wide array of subjects offered at this university helped widen my scope. With all
I would spend hours together experimenting and analyzing various mechanics around me like the ball bearings in my bicycle & roller skates and would be fascinated by my spring loaded toy cars. During my higher secondary schooling, I showed special interest in mathematics and physical sciences and in order to supplement the education that I received in school, I became a habitual reader of science magazines and books. As a direct consequence of this, I came to know about the latest developments in the field of science and engineering, especially aerospace and manufacturing engineering as it deeply interested me and I was naturally inclined to like the subject. The basics I learnt in school only whetted my appetite for more learning. It was but natural I would choose to take up manufacturing engineering as a career choice when I joined
Truthfully, I have always been immersed in Physics studies since the first time I learn about it. I love the fact that by learning Physics, it can teach us how to think critically and help in solving unexpected problems that we encounter in our daily life. I found that mechanical engineering is the course that can help me continue my interest in this subject since it involved most of the concept in Physics such as mechanics, kinematics, and thermodynamics. Mechanical engineering is also appealing to me because I love to design new things as well as handling the machines and tools. I also believe that by specializing in this course, I can have the opportunity to handle various types of machine and therefore, the knowledge that is gained through this will become such a great assistance to me in creating and manufacturing my own systems in future.
The scope of Mechanical Engineering is vast. Various exams that you can give which leads to good job opportunities after B.E are:
After graduating from high school in the year 2012, I set out doing numerous odd jobs as I tried to establish a firm footing for my future studies since it has always been my dream to obtain professional training in Mechanical Engineering, I made sure I submitted my application to every call for scholarship opportunities and made several applications to world acclaimed universities that would be able to give me the training I so desired.
