A true friendship is a bond between two people that care equally about each other and put the other person ahead of them for that person’s benefit. Friendships are given to people to show that someone cares about them. Friendships teach you how to care for someone, always do what is better for that person, and trust the people that stay with you.

Helen Keller once stated that “Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.” Friendship can be defined in many different ways. For example a four year old might say that a friend is the other boy that gave him a cookie. While an adult says someone to talk and relate to when they need it. They are also formed in a plethora of ways. For instance, the two four year olds could grow up staying friends, or you meet some random person in the supermarket and start talking, or even through another friend. Friends are part of what makes life fun, being able to enjoy the joyous times with another person, and lean on them in the challenging times.

What defines a friendship? I believe friendship has no definition. For example, the friendship between someone and their parents would be different with someone their own age. A friendship can exist between best friends, friends, acquaintances, lovers, children, parents, siblings, and much more. However, all of these types of friendships are different.

If you look up the connotation of the word “friendship” you’ll find a bland definition like “Friendship - the emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends”. Now I know Its significance is something more, TRUE friendship is an unbreakable bond. You’re there for each other through thick and thin. It’s something that is cherished and cannot be replaced, that is what true friendship

Friend- A person who has a strong liking for and trust in each other. A friends is a very strong word that has many depth and detail to. A good friend is more beneficial than a bad friend, and will boost your future with the love of friendship. The qualities and actions a valuable friend shows gives benefits to us and shows people another dimension of not just a friend, but a good friend.

Friendship is a relationship in which two people often share openly and equally with each other, it takes time and effort to build up a friendship.
