I was among three therapists sent to New Hope Corps transitional home for quarterly face-to-face contact with client. Client has been at the transitional home for three months and all reports are that he is doing well. I met with transition home counselor at the home prior to meeting with client. The transitional home counselor reported that the client had made much progress in his therapy group this quarter. She had reported at previous meeting that client had not wanted to share any of his issues with the group and just sat there until the time was up in group and then left with no remarks. During this quarter, he has begun to open up about his feelings regarding his birth father and his anger toward him. He has talked about his drug use. The transition home counselor began meeting with him individually two months ago and that one-on-one counseling has given him the encouragement to share with the group. The transition home counselor warned me that client would want to discuss his desire to return home as soon as possible. I met with client alone to discuss his progress over the last quarter. He reported that he is feeling good about
Servant leadership is key- Educational leaders must have the interests of the children as their main concern. Hall’s use of fear to achieve results created a bigger problem within the school district rather than solving it. Listening to teachers’ difficulties and working directly with those inside individual schools will help leaders identify and solve problems, as Errol and Castarphen have done and will continue doing.
Currently, I am not an employee of any learning organization, school district or educational system. However, I am involved and Chair the School Advisory Council (SAC) of Greenland Pines Elementary. This opportunity granted me a unique opportunity to observe the management of two different principals with their individual leadership styles. Furthermore, I contrasted my business practices from my own company and military service to coincide with this case study. The purpose of this paper is a comprehensive written outlining the processes presented by the educational leadership at Greenland Pines Elementary. With this in mind, we need to understand the concept of educational leadership.
This will allow for dialogue between faculty, staff, and myself as the administrator. I am currently working as an elementary school aide to prepare for what I need in order to be successful as a school administrator since most duties are non-professional. A successful operation of an educational institution requires a competent administrator, such as one who can lead in teaching and learning, take responsibility for school success, develop and retain excellent teachers, and build a strong school community. Leadership plays a critical part in the realization of effective schools, seeing the vision of the school, and articulates the goals. Leadership is a trait I use daily working with people getting things done by modeling behaviors and inspiring action.
Four states offer paralegal certifications and two states offer document preparer certifications through their State Bar Associations. These states authorize a certification examination to educationally qualified paralegals or legal assistants, however, certification is not required in these states to work as a paralegal. After successful completion of the examination the Bar Associations authorize the paralegal to use the title of “Certified Paralegal.”

Number of studies have asserted that teaching experience of principal positively associates with his/her instructional leadership (Eberts & Stone, 1988; Glasman, 1984; Hallinger, 1983; Leithwood et al., 1990). Studies have identified personal values of principal to indirectly shape his/her attention to varying aspects of educational programs (Barth, 1980, 1990; Cuban, 1988; Glasman, 1984; Leithwood et al., 1990, 1992). “Research on effects of principal leadership on student learning draws its conceptual lineage more directly from research on school effectiveness and school improvement.” (Hallinger, Bickman and Davis,
In Argentinian culture, soccer (football) is not only a sport, but a common passion that supports social gathering and interconnectedness amongst people from different backgrounds. Due to this, and the enjoyment this sport gives me, I have played competitive soccer my whole life. I worked tirelessly over many years and eventually, my hard work was acknowledged when I was scouted to be a trialist for the new professional soccer team, FC Edmonton. I knew this was my chance to finally make not only myself happy, but my parents proud. They sacrificed their hard-earned money, down time, and personal hobbies for my soccer endeavours.
Similar to other leadership settings, educational leadership has a reliance on individual traits such as respect, trustworthiness, and fairness. Similarly, skills are essential since they determine the effectiveness of headship. Cooperation of staff members requires leaders to have strong awareness and understanding of their complex organizational environment. Concurrently, choice of management style is essential while focusing on maximum effectiveness of educational leadership. Lastly, as postulated, educational leadership is a great influencer towards students
Since its development in 1994 the standards of Educational Leadership have pursued promoting an understanding on what is expected from the educational administration field.1 The goal of this paper is to present a personal appraisal of a connection between the ELCC standards and my own experiences in district leadership and a reflection on my professional practice of the standards. It is implicit that an educational leader should promote the success of every student by advocating and effectively implementing the 6 standards of Educational Leadership. 2
Educational leadership has changed and evolved through the years as a result of dramatic changes in the school culture, student demographics, environment, science, technology, and economy. Given the complexity and unpredictability of the demanding challenges to educate all children, prospective school leaders may find it desirable to define their own beliefs about instructional supervision and evaluation as they prepare for the rigor of school leadership practice. While enacting supervision, a supervisor is guided by certain values, assumptions, beliefs, and opinions that support the purpose and process of supervision (Sergiovanni & Starratt, 2006). This can be described as the supervisor’s
Effective school leadership today must combine the traditional school leadership duties such as teacher evaluation, budgeting, scheduling, and facilities maintenance with a deep involvement with specific aspects of teaching and learning. Effective instructional leaders are intensely involved in curricular and instructional issues that directly affect student achievement (Cotton, 2003). The writer of this paper acknowledges that school principals should play the role of instructional leaders, not just a school manager. The reality is that are many demands on a principals time and management skills making it difficult for most of them to spend time in classrooms, when performing teacher evaluation. Principals often make sure that teachers
A resume a short, simple document that highlights an individual's experience, qualifications, skills education and certifications in hopes of finding a job and is usually limited to one, maybe two pages. (WiseGEEK, n.d.) Some employers ask for a resume, other employers ask for what is called a Curriculum Vitae, often shorted to CV. Some employers use the term interchangeably. The CV includes all life accomplishments, in chronological order regardless of the relevance to the job duties. In the academic community, a CVs is the most common and can ran several pages long and is often requested for graduate and professional schools like PHD programs. (Simpson, n.d.)
According to my perspective, Davis has breached the rules under the Fair Trading Act 1986. Undoubtedly, he had faith in that information, which was provided to him and this shows unintentional falsification. He has got proof as well for relying third party.
