In order to compare the Christian worldview to the secular worldview of account, one must understand the definition of what a world view is and what a Christian worldview looks like as well as what a secular worldview looks like. It is not uncommon for individuals to have different worldviews because the meaning of the word is a set of beliefs one uses to understand the world. All people grow up viewing the world different because to the different things they experience in their lives. A worldview defines the basis of how an individual interprets reality. A person’s worldview would help establish one’s principles by how they judge right from wrong and it’s their guide for everyday living. A person’s worldview shapes the way individuals interact within the world. Worldview plays a major role when it comes to establishing one’s moral opinions such as religious beliefs, marriage, politics, social structures, environmental concerns, educational standards, economics, children upbringing, food consumption, and the list continues. Individuals behave according to what they believe, not what they don’t believe. In today’s world there are so many different worldviews and spiritual worldviews. Most worldviews can be summed up into either a secular humanist worldview or a Christian worldview.
