Develop a product positioning map for the Spectrum Band product. Assume the map will be used as a tool to help sales reps sell the product so make the exercise easy to follow for the customer.
When being compared with to competitors who already sell similar products, the Spectrum Band has a significantly smaller market share, as it is a newly developed product. However, given the different features offered in the product, it is expected that the market share will grow in the next few years. Looking at the positioning map, it is shown that there are a lot of room for the Spectrum Band to grow and will not compete directly with the other similar products, such as FitBit and Jawbone due to the additional features offered in the Spectrum Band.
