The visitor’s center supervisor and wait staff are both a very important addition to the resort. All employees are offered an exceptional benefits package. Pay scales are determined based upon the job title with additional contributing factors such as experience and skills.
The visitor’s center supervisor is a salary job which scale depends on the person’s amount of education, years of experience, qualification and credentials required for the job. For the wait staff an hourly pay rate depends on their experience and starts at $2.13 and goes up to $5.75 an hour. A benefit package will also be included affordable medical including vision, dental and optional cancer. There will also be paid vacations, sick leave with pay, and maternity programs with onsite daycare provided. A 401K plan will be offered with matching $50 to every five dollars that it put into the plan by the employee. All of the benefits will be offered to all employees here at Baderman Island.

There are physicians, recreational therapists, dietary/nutritional and nursing staff as well as Environmental staff. You have administrative professionals including the facility administrator, Director of Nursing and Human Resource Personnel.
The manager will be in charge of maintaining the cat condos and kennels clean. In the morning, this person needs to check on all the animals, make sure they have clear water and refill their food bowls, second clean the condos/kennels and change the blankets, this person is also in charge of taking the dogs on short walks. As I previously mentioned, one of the important staff of the shelter is the front desk, I will hire three people for this position, these people will be in charge of answering the phone, greeting and helping potential adopters, process the intake of an animal, takes photographs of intake animals to post to our shelter Facebook page and processes cash/credit card/checks donations. This is a very important positon because the front desk staff needs to be familiarized with Furry Animal Shelter policies, services and shelter programs.
The members must also be familiar with various aspects of fundraising, human service development program activities and be able to participate effectively in a collaborative group process. The members are responsible for making recommendations on the operations of Las Vegas CHIPs, follow all policies and procedures, attend the Advisory Committee meetings and conduct outreach to inform community members about the agency and solicit their input. Below the Executive Director is the Assistant Director of Finance, Office Manager, Assistant Director of Operations and Clinical Director. We then have the Bookkeeper above the Assistant Director of Finance and the Intern above the Office Manager. The Program Manager is above the Assistant Director of Operation and the Staff/Volunteer/ Students at the bottom of the list. The Operations Manager of Finance is monitor program budgets, approves all program expenditures and review and manage cash flow. The Bookkeepers duties is to process invoices and prepare checks for signatures along with making bank deposit, process payroll, manage accounts receivable and prepare monthly and year-end financial reports.
The larger stores have 3, Marshall being a smaller store only has 2. It is their jobs to help the Merchandising Manager to execute the sets each month. It is also their jobs to ensure all visuals for the sales are set and taken down when needed. The MAs help train the sale associates and ensure the floor is running smoothly. The MA’s are considered low level or entry level management. Then there is the HR manager. This position is on the same level with the assistant manager. The HR manager oversees hiring and training of new associates. Likewise, she oversees creating the schedule for all employees. Now at Penny’s, it is done 2 weeks at a time. On top of that physicians assistants, nurses, radiology technicians, and the supporting staff within the clinic account to him with any issues or updates regarding the facility. Zack does a little bit of everything here and there such as public relations work, marketing, handling insurance work, handling complaints, and updating protocols.
