The RUC will be able to provide treatment to patients suffering from non-life threatening conditions and the most common illness, including pneumonia and flu, fevers, upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations, contusion, and also necessary screening test, such as High Blood Pressure, mammogram, diabetes. Since the late 1980s and early 1990s, hospitals have looked to facilities such as RUCs as a means to reduce rate of inappropriate ED utilizations by triaging patients to less acute settings. The ED is not the most appropriate care setting for many patients, such as elderly patients and young children. Patients would also not have to wait long hours to receive medical attention, which thus can become stressful for patients, especially elderly and children. The RUC will also address community needs for convenient and reliable access to care. In order to meet the need of the community and be able to provide the appropriate level of care, RUC will provide mainly focus on provide procedure but not limited, diagnoses, and treatment for all ages, such as preventative medicine and the overall health and wellness of community members. The facility will be to provide nursing triage, physician assessments, minor procedures, basic lab services, basic diagnostic imaging, vital signs, IV therapy, EKG, and would care, plus many more with proper trained and supporting staff. The RUC will provide the most comprehensive medical care possible in order to optimize the care and well being of each patient. RUC will provide Nurse Triage physician assessment to handled common illness, respiratory illness, bladder infections, allergies, pregnancy testing, skin rashes, sport injuries and eye, ear and sinus infection. The Occupational Safety Testing could provide a secure bathroom to provide basic drug testing, which is offered in the hospital. However, the service will provide convenience to those in the rural community and it’s also more fitting to have the testing done in a freestanding center. Besides having basic drug testing done, RUC can also provide diagnostics lab and x-ray services. Through the RUC being capable of providing basic drug testing and diagnostics lab and x-ray, community member would not have to travel the distant to a local hospital or clinic center to have the testing
