1. Evaluate the jobs and prepare a job structure based on its evaluation. Assign titles to each job, and show your structure and title and job letter. (This organization places a major emphasis on the important role of teams.)
2. Describe the process you went through to arrive at the job structure. You should also be prepared to discuss the job evaluation techniques and compensable factors used and the reasons for selecting them.
3. Evaluate the job descriptions. What parts of them were most useful? How could they be improved?
4. Questions: does the job evaluation method used appear to affect the results? Do the compensable factors chosen affect the results? Does the process affect the results?

Whole Foods Market (WFM) is a leading natural and organic food supermarket founded in Austin, Texas by four local business people: John Mackey and Renee Lawson Hardy, owners of Safer Way Natural Foods, and Craig Weller and Mark Skiles, owners of Clarksville Natural Grocery. WFM opened its first store in 1980, they staffed their first store with only 19 workers, the store was an immediate success partly because at the time there were less than half a dozen organic stores in the entire country.

Making sure that all areas of their company “walk the talk”, this begins first with their employees, then their customers and stakeholders.
It starts with the defining the job with a focus on job specifications (competencies) compatible with strategic goals and executing these goals. In the last lesson also we went on the importance of descriptions so it is essential to structure what kind of job requirements needed according to specifications.
2.Restaurant Manager- Candidates are to maintain budgets and plan menus. Welcoming and advising customers, preparing staff and sales reports, overseeing stock levels and taking reservation requests are all included in the key responsibilities.
