It is projected that cash reserve for the business will rise in future due to growth in sales and therefore the cash dividend is likely to rise in future. The new equipment has been fitted and with this new equipment, a new streak of paint products are anticipated to be announced. This shall be the new line of paint specially made for the newlyweds. This will be announced as environment friendly, easily removable paints which can be used by the newlyweds to decorate their room in different themes. This is anticipated to raise the revenue of the business by 0.3 times.

As a Naval Officer I had the opportunity to experience both leadership and management. Today's Navy operates with fewer people and resources than before. Therefore, leadership and management are more important than ever. Very early in my career I was taught leadership and as I advanced through the ranks I experienced management.
To organize and prioritize the current and future projects in the pipeline in a way that fits into the PMB budget of $5B, and ensures projects that increase sales, growth, and stockholder value are of top priority, whereas projects that are not beneficial are either put on hold or discarded.
The objective of this report was to analyze Vivint-Smart Home Solutions’ performance in terms of organisational culture, management and leadership styles and motivation and how organizations have been affected by them. In this report, we identified that Vivint has an association of Hierarchy and Market organisational culture, relationship-oriented and task-oriented leadership styles and servant leadership style. Moreover, it demonstrated that Vivint has intrinsic and extrinsic rewards. These resulted in successful and unsuccessful practices of Vivint based on the Undercover Boss TV series based on three aspects which have been mentioned above. In addition, this report critiqued the Undercover Boss method for discovering the problems within an organisation and recommended other processes for uncovering issues. The results showed that organisational culture, management and leadership styles as well as motivation played significant roles in Vivint’s performance. Recommendations have been made to improve the unsuccessful practices of Vivint such as training managers to be empathic problem solver, examining and updating the working condition regularly, bonus for employees who give feedback voluntarily on management processes and offering fund to employees who are in need of support.
The financial department have been asked to carry out analysis all invoices from the past year to provide data on where wastage is taking place.
Within this assignment I will describe my understanding of the links between management and leadership, the skills and styles of management and leadership, the application of management and leadership theories in an organisational context and planning for the development of management and leadership skills.
The following report includes selected financial data analyzing the performance of our company Life Through the Lens for year 12. Included is our strategy for the current year, future initiatives for our four regions, our competitor analysis, and reasons our company has not been improving as well as we had projected. In corporate America the term used to describe a person in a position of power is “Manager”. A leader can be a manager, but a manager is not necessarily a leader. Leaders motivate, challenge, and influence others to achieve goals. Great leaders have the necessary skills and attributes which allow them to connect with the team and organization. Being a leader is not the same as managing an organization. Leader’s posses the interpersonal skills needed to influence others to achieve a goal willingly. Leading is a major part of a manager’s job. Leaders do not need to be a manager to lead people, but managers must know how to lead as well as manage.
In this case study of Berkshire Industries PLC, we will be focusing on the evaluation of their new incentive system and address their potential options. This new system focuses on economic profits instead of accounting profits. To better understand the implications of the economic profit-focused system, we will perform a data analysis on the companies Snack Division. Furthermore, we will assess the negative effect this system had on their underperforming division, Spirits.
When the husband opened the door, he looks depressed and tired; making the audiences unsure of what does the advertisement supposed to tell. They should change the sad-looking dad into a happy smiling dad instead. The depressed look on the guy’s face will affect audiences’ emotion to purchase this particular product. Besides that, they mentioned “Home Improvement” at the end of the advertisement. However, the guy’s expression is more likely expressing that his life is going down the hill instead of improving. Moreover, the advertisement does not show if the woman happy with her new life. Leaving audiences doubted the trustworthiness of the product. Besides that, it is unclear that why did the pregnant woman cover the red paint with a cool-muted grey paint. Is she getting tired of her current life? Or she is trying to change a new environment? It is not stated clearly, leaving the audiences
For decade’s individuals, companies, and organizations have spent an unprecedented amount of money on researching, molding, modeling and working to define what a leader is and what characteristics make successful leaders. Despite all the research, there is not a quick answer or even full agreement as to what makes an individual an effective leader. The definition of a leader is “someone who can influence others and who has managerial authority.” (Robbins, Decenzo, Coulter, 2015. P.370)
