Question
C++
Write a function named “getTotalHourAndPayout” that accepts an array of
PayStub object pointers and its size. It will return the total number of hours and
payout amount for all of the PayStub in the given array.
For example, if we have two paystubs of 40 hours and $10 pay rate with 50 hours
and $10 pay rate, it will return 90 hours and $950.
Please show you would call and test this function.

- Write in C++ Sam is making a list of his favorite Pokemon. However, he changes his mind a lot. Help Sam write a function insertAfter() that takes five parameters and inserts the name of a Pokemon right after a specific index. Function specifications Name: insertAfter() Parameters (Your function should accept these parameters IN THIS ORDER): input_strings string: The array containing strings num_elements int: The number of elements that are currently stored in the array arr_size int: The number of elements that can be stored in the array index int: The location to insert a new string. Note that the new string should be inserted after this location. string_to_insert string: The new string to be inserted into the array Return Value: bool: true: If the string is successfully inserted into the array false: If the array is full If the index value exceeds the size of the arrayarrow_forwardC++ Write a program that populates an array with numbers and allows the user to run some actions on the array. Your array will be initialized in your main function to a constant global value, MAX_SIZE, which should be set to 20. To perform the subtasks, you will be writing three functions: fillArray: This function takes in an array of integers and a reference to an integer representing the number of filled elements. In this function, the user is prompred to enter a positive number that is no greater than 20, and this input will loop until the user enters a legal value. This value will be filled inside of the reference parameter mentioned above. From here, the array will be filled up to "value" elements with randomly generated numbers between 1 and 100. Make sure to set the random seed to 20 at the start of main() for consistent results. displayArray: This function takes in an array of integers and an integer representing the number of filled elements. Using a loop, all elements in the…arrow_forwardWrite a function in C++ language which takes two parameters as arguments, the first being an integer array and the second being the size of this integer array, and sorts this integer array in descending order. Write a similar function which takes the same arguments, but sorts the integer array in ascending order. Write a C++ program which takes integer values from user, inserts them into an integer array, uses these two functions to sort the array in ascending and descending order and prints the results on screen. You can take any size of the integer arrayarrow_forward
- an int variable k, an int array currentMembers that has been declared and initialized, an int variable nMembers that contains the number of elements in the array, an int variable memberID that has been initialized, and a bool variable isAMember, Write code that assigns true to isAMember if the value of memberID can be found in currentMembers, and that assigns false to isAMemberotherwise. Use only k, currentMembers, nMembers, and isAMember.arrow_forwardIN C++ Write a method that lets you insert a number anywhere in an array that is already full. For instance, if you have an array of size 5: 3,6,1,2,0. You should be able to insert the number 9 in some desired/specified position. E.g 3,6,1,9,2,0.arrow_forwardWrite a program that has a declaration in main() to store the following numbers in an array named temps: 6.5, 7.2,7.5, 8.3, 8.6, 9.4, 9.6, 9.8, and 10.0. There should be a function call to show() that accepts the temps array as aparameter named temps and then displays the numbers in the array.arrow_forward
- Write a function/method called “addStock” that takes: An array of Stocks The number of stocks in the array A string representing a tickerName A string representing the company the tickerName represents A double representing the price of the stock A double representing the quantity of stock owned. The function must create and add the stock to the array if there is space. The function must return “true” if the addition was successful and “false” otherwise.arrow_forwardJava Program - Functions with 2D Arrays Write a function named displayElements that takes a two-dimensional array, the size of its rows and columns, then prints every element of a two-dimensional array. Separate every row by a new line and every column by a space. In the main function, write a program that asks for integer input to be assigned on a 3 x 3 array and call the function displayElements to print the contents on the next line. Input 1. Multiple lines containing integer each line Output R1C1: 1 R1C2: 2 R1C3: 3 R2C1: 4 R2C2: 5 R2C3: 6 R3C1: 7 R3C2: 8 R3C3: 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9arrow_forwardIn statistics, the mode of a set of values is the value that occurs most often or with the greatestfrequency. Write a function that accepts as arguments the following:A. An array of integersB. An integer that indicates the number of elements in the arrayThe function should determine the mode of the array. That is, it should determine which valuein the array occurs most often. The mode is the value the function should return. If the arrayhas no mode (none of the values occur more than once), the function should return −1.Demonstrate your pointer process by using pointer notation instead of array notation in thisfunction.arrow_forward
- Write a C++ program with a linear search only: You have been hired by the SFPD fraud unit to help detect credit card fraud. They have given you a list of 20 stolen credit card numbers, and want you to write a program that can detect if someone is attempting to use one of these credit card numbers at the local Target store.Your program should first read in a list of credit card numbers from a file into an array, and ask the user for a credit card number they would like to use. Then, search the array of credit card numbers to see if the credit card number is in the list. To simplify, we will use a 6 digit credit card number, e.g. 424238. Your list of stolen credit card numbers must be stored in an array of 20 ints. You can get a list from my website and read it in to initialize your array, it is sorted from lowest to highest card number. To get the list into your hills directory, you can use the wget command from the hills prompt: wget http://fog.ccsf.edu/~mluttrel/cs110b/cards.txt…arrow_forwardLANGUAGE: C++ This is good practice with classes. You are going to create a race class, and inside that class it has a list of entrants (so a list of entry objects) for that race. To test the program you will make an array of three races (so an array of race objects). Populate each race with time and list of entry objects. Print out the schedule. Create a race class that has The name of the race as a character string, ie “RACE 1” or “RACE 2”, The time of the race An array list of entries for that race Create a race array of 3 (or 4) of those race objects, For the list of entries for a particular race that you need above, make a horse entry class (the building block of your array list) you should have The horse name The jockey name The jockey weight Now you need to Populate the structure (ie set up the three races on the schedule, add 2-3 horses entries to each race. You can hardcode the entries if you want to, rather than getting them from the user, just to save the…arrow_forwardWrite a console application with several functions that deal with a two-dimensional array of positive integers: The number of rows and number of columns of the array should be 20.
