Question
I need this ASAP
I am supposed to you try-catch statements for this code but keep getting an error this is the code i have so far:
public class FileIO04
{
public ArrayList<String> readFileToArrayList(String filename) throws Exception
{
File file = new File(filename);
BufferedReader buffer = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(file));
String line;
ArrayList<String> list = new ArrayList<String>();
while ((line = buffer.readLine()) != null)
{
list.add(line);
}
return list;
}
}

Transcribed Image Text:FilelO 04: Echo to ArrayList
Write a FileI004 class with a method named readFileToArrayList() that takes a filename (as a String) and returns an ArrayList of Strings. For each line in the file, add it as a
separate element in the ArrayList Do not include the newline at the end of each line. Use a BufferedReader object to read the file contents. If an exception is thrown, display an informative
message and return an empty ArrayList.
Examples.
FileI004 driver1 = new FileI004();
driver1.readFileToArrayList( "poem.txt" ) // returns (an ArrayList of Strings with 3 elements): {"Two roads diverged in a wood and I", "I took the one less trave
led by", "And that has made all the difference"}
FileI004 driver2 = new FileI004();
driver2.readFileToArrayList( "bogusFilename.txt" ); // returns an empty ArrayList

(Helper functions are highly encouraged here.) How to calculate positivity score: For every word that is pos itive in the file (based on the words in the list of positive words) add 1 to the score. For every negative word (based on the list of negative words), subtract 1 from the score. Any neutral words (those that do not appear in either list) do not affect the score in any way. passarrow_forward//asking this question again as the answer I was provided did not appear to follow the instructions of the question below Write a Java program that implements both Linear Search and Binary Search.
