Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and licensed for distribution and supply of
electricity to its consumers within the defined geographical areas of Lahore, Kasur,
Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana Districts. LESCO is serving more than 5.1 million
consumers with annual revenue base of Rs.330 billion and more than 20,000 employees.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The Company is looking for high caliber team leader for the position of Chief Executive
Officer who has potential to lead and keep the Company on the track of persistent growth
and creating value for its customers. Company seek proactive, result-oriented
professional with established credibility and performance record. The candidate is
required to have strong leadership, team building, change management, interpersonal
and communication skills with the high drive to achieve performance targets. The terms
and conditions for the post are given here under:-
1. The Candidate must possess at least 20 years, experience including at-least 10 years
working in Power Sector, with at least 3 years' experience at senior management
positions.
2. Candidate must possess a bachelor degree in Engineering with a Master degree in
Engineering or Business / Public Administration or Management or Economics or
Finance.
3. Salary and allowances will be equivalent to MP-I Scale (at the initial stage). Hiring shall
not be under MP Scale policy of the Government and MP-I Scale mentioned above is
for indicative purpose only.
4. The initial contract shall be for a period of three (3) years, with annual performance
evaluation to be conducted by the Board of Directors of LESCO against given KPIS.
5. The Candidate must comply with Fit & Proper Criteria and other conditionalities as
prescribed in Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive) Guidelines,
2015.
6. The Applicants may apply through Application Forms and declaration available on
LESCO's website www.lesco.gov.pk.
7. The Applicants will also forward signed printed copy of the online Application Form
through courier service or registered mail along with the following documents:
a. Detailed CV, 4 Passport size photographs, Copy of CNIC.
b. Declaration on Non Judicial stamp paper of requisite value, as per specimen
available on the LESCO Website.
c. Copies of Degrees/Testimonials. Although shortlisted candidates shall be required
to submit duly verified copies of. their Testimonial by the Higher Education
Commission or the professional body or association whichever is relevant.
d. All pages of the application should be numbered and signed by the applicant.
e. The Applicant may also send the signed scanned copy of the Application Form
alongwith required documents through email at the address given below.
8. The applications must reach at the below mentioned address on or before 9th February,
2021.
9. Incomplete applications in any respect or received after the due date will not be
entertained and no claim whatsoever thereof will be acceptable.
10.The Candidates already working in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Public Organizations can
also apply through proper channel alongwith NOC of their respective organization on
its Letter Head.
11. LESCO reserves the right to withhold / cancel the whole recruitment-process at any
stage without assigning any reason.
12. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews / selection process. No TA/DA
will be admissible for interview / selection process.
