Please dont add in html script but use coding should be in javascript. It shouldnt be prompting message or alert but it should errorflag the error like the card is valid or the card is invalid when i click the purchase button.
Modulus Check Logic
For this project, we will be taking in 10 digit credit card numbers. Ensure the user entered only 10 numbers. If they pass this check, perform a modulus check to ensure that the user has submitted a valid credit card number.
Note that the checking factors below are the literal checking factors you will use in your solution.
Sample Credit Card Number |
9434578423 |
Checking Factors |
432765432 |
Multiply Checking Factors by Credit Card digits and Sum |
(9 * 4) + (4 * 3) + (3 * 2) + (4 * 7) + (5 * 6) + (7 * 5) + (8 * 4) + (4 * 3) + (2 * 2) = 195 |
Divide the Sum by 11 |
195 / 11 = 17, gives a remainder of 8 |
Subtract |
11 - 8 = 3 (this is the check digit) |
Compare the check digit to the last digit in the credit card number |
9434578423 |
The credit card number is valid when the check digit and the last digit in the credit card number are equal.
The following valid credit card numbers can be used for testing:
1111111118
2222222225
4111313135
2234321326
Note:
The “%” is the mathematical operator used to get the remainder.
Examples:
10 % 5 = 0, there is no remainder
10 % 3 = 1, there is a remainder of 1

- Thank you very much for your help. I do need the btnSubmitPrice to work when clicked though, and via the assignment given, I cannot have an InputBox unless I am also allowed to have the btnSubmitPrice to be clicked when a user adds another item. When a user adds another item, the txtTotalSales and txtAverageSalePrice have to change as well and update with the new values. I do not know how to do this. I tried moving the text under btnSubmitPrice_Click instead of FrmMain_Load and it did not work.arrow_forwardI would like to get a fresh and brand new code for the following scenario (attached as an image). it would be great if you can add comments in your code saying why you have taken those particular algorithms.arrow_forwardNeed help with the following: Adding comments to help explain the purpose of methods, classes, constructors, etc. to help improve understanding. Implementing enhanced for loop (for each loop) to iterate over the numbers array in the calculateProduct method. Creating a separate class for the UI and a separate class for the calculator logic. Lastly, creating a constant instead of hard coding the number "5" in multiple places. Thank you for any input/knowldge you can transfer to me, I appreciate it. - Create an Empty Activity Project to implement the following Layouts. Layouts: one Text, one E-mail, one Image and one Button. Tips: - The project’s layout structure is ConstraintLayout. - The first element is Text. You must write your name in place of “XYZ” with a textSize = 20sp and textColor of Red. - The second element is E-mail. You must write your email address under your name, with the textColor = Blue. - The third element is an image. You can add any image after your name and email with any size you like. - The fourth element is a button. Place the button on the end of the page and call it ”OK”. Implement the previous requirements and include the XML file and screenshot of the layout’s output, after you run the application. Layout’s output:arrow_forwardThis is for the game brick breaker use Java to code what's posted down below.arrow_forwardPlease help me create a cave class for a Hunt the Wumpus game. You can read the rules in it's entirety of the Hunt the Wumpus game online to get a better idea of the specifications. It's an actual game. INFORMATION: The object of this game is to find and kill the Wumpus within a minimum number of moves, before you get exhausted or run out of arrows. There is only one way to win: you must discover which room the Wumpus is hiding in and kill it by shooting an arrow into that room from an adjacent room. The Cave The Wumpus lives in a cave of 30 rooms. The rooms are hexagonal. Each room has up to 3 tunnels, allowing access to 1, 2 or 3 (out of 6) adjacent rooms. The attached diagram shows the layout of rooms in the cave. The map wraps around such that rooms on the edges (white cells) have neighbors from the opposite edge (blue cells). E.g., the neighbors of room 1 are rooms 25, 26, 2, 7, 6, and 30, and you could choose to connect room 1 to any of these rooms. Observe how room 1…arrow_forward
- Add a new Java class to your project by right clicking on the src folder in the Project pane and select New > Java Class.Enter Hours as the name for this class, and IntelliJ will add it to the files in the src folder for your project. Remember tocopy and insert the standard heading for the main method as you did for Program 2.Write a program that prompts the user to enter a number of hours, and produces the equivalent number of days as a wholenumber along with the number of hours left over. Assume that a day has exactly 24 hours. The following example showsthe format to use for your output, where the input entered by the user is underlined.Enter the number of hours: 100100 hours is 4 days, plus 4 hours.Define Variables: The number of hours will be a whole number, and we would like to obtain results as whole numbers ofdays and hours, so use the int data type to declare the variables to hold the numbers of hours input, as well as the results(the number of days and number of hours left…arrow_forwardPLEASE ENSURE TO USE THE FRAMEWORK PROVIDED IN THE IMAGES, AND THAT IT WORKS WITH THE TESTER CLASS. Write a class RangeInput that allows users to enter a value within a range of values that is provided in the constructor. An example would be a temperature control switch in a car that allows inputs between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The input control has “up” and “down” buttons. Provide up and down methods to change the current value. The initial value is the midpoint between the limits. As with the preceding exercises, use Math.min and Math.max to limit the value. Write a sample program that simulates clicks on controls for the passenger and driver seats.arrow_forwardWrite a method that takes two string parameters, and tells whether the first is a substring of the second. You can't use framework methods that do this for you, such as indexOf(). In other words, you have to write the loops yourself. But, you can use the primitive methods such as charAt(). Also analyze the program's performance and state the big-O complexity of your method. Provide a screenshot of the code working.arrow_forward
- Using DrawingPanel.java (from chapter 3G), draw a grid for filling in a 4 x 4 square of cell containing integers. For this part of the assignment the values are not important, but you are welcome to use the values shown in the magic square from below. Note that the values in any horizontal row, vertical column or main diagonals add up to 34, in addition to various sub-squares in the larger square also add up to the same value. Requirements: The magic square should be centered in the panel The values in each of the cells should be centered in that cell (both horizontally and vertically). You can assume the values will be <= 99 (i.e., at most 2 digits). For this part of the assignment, you can hard-code the values; you will store them in a 2-dimensional array (from chapter 7) when implementing Part B of the assignment. The title "CSC 142 Magic Square" is centered horizontally in the panel and at y = 50 You are free to choose the colors, fonts, font sizes and effects. Then create a new Java application called "WeightedAvgDataAnalyzer" (without the quotation marks), that does the following: This program is similar to the previous assignment - "WeightedAvgDropSmallest" - with a major difference that the inputs for the program will be read from a file and the output for this assignment should be written to a new file. The concept of application is as follows: The program will read numbers from a file - data.txt - that you will create, where the weight is a double (greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 1.0) and the other numbers are the number, n, of lowest values to drop and then the numbers to be averaged after dropping the lowest n values. Example data.txt file would display: 0.5 3 10 70 90 80 20 The program then calculates the weighted average of all those numbers except the lowest n numbers, where…arrow_forwardMost forms on websites will usually have some sort of test to confirm that the user is a human and not a bot. Update the contact form that you created in Part 3. Add a field to the form that asks the user for the answer to a simple maths problem. The form should only be submitted if the user provides the successful answer to the maths problem. For example you may ask the user what 3 + 4 equals. The form will only be successfully submitted if the user provides 7 as the answer. If the user provides the incorrect answer to the maths problem, you should display a bold red error message to the user on the page by manipulating the DOM. The message should be diplayed in the same location on the page as the form validation error message from Part 3. If the user provides the correct answer to the maths problem, then the form should be submitted and the user should receive the bold green success message from part 3. Once part 4 is complete the user should receive an error message if: • The form…arrow_forward
