We have to find the combined standard deviation the formula for that is as follows

The formula is as follows

N1 is 149

N2 is 113

Var 1 means variance of first sample which has been taken from morning.Since in this group the amount of every credit is same which is 1871. When amount is same that means there is no variation in amount no variation means variance is 0 and standard deviation is also zero

Var 2 means variance of second group, and that variance is given in question to be 1339644

d1 =(mean of first group or first sample -combined mean)

mean of first group is 1871 and combined mean we found in earlier step...
