different situations. Then apply this knowledge to complete the following problem.
Problem: Jim Bob is showing off his awesome biceps in the gym by doing curls. Assume that his elbow
acts as a pin and that his arm has a mass of 2 kg and is uniform, so the force of gravity acts its center of
its 13 inch (.33 m) length. Treat the muscle as a tension force acting straight up connected 1.5 in (0.037
m) from the elbow. Finally, he is lifting a 50 lb (22.7 kg) mass in his hand. Calculate all forces acting on
the arm.
I am very confused on how to do these equilibrium problems. Need help explaining this please!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
