Calculation:

When a die is rolled the total number of outcomes is 6.

To find the probability of outcome where number is greater than 2, the possible outcomes will be 4 i.e. 3, 4, 5and 6.

  $P\left(GreaterThan2\right)=\frac{PossibleOutcomes}{TotalOutcomes}$

So-

  $P=\frac{4}{6}$
