Chemical formula: It is one elements combine to from a chemical compound, symbol are combined to produce chemical formula which use subscript to identify how many od atoms of each element are in a given chemical compound. For example the formula (H2O) represents water it contains two hydrogen atoms combined with one oxygen atoms.
