Chapter 1, Problem 19PE
Program Plan Intro
System Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
- System development life cycle is the process or method which includes different phases to complete the project in step-by-step format.
- It includes detailed planning that describes developing, maintaining, replacing, specifying and many others.
- Examples of SDLC are Waterfall model, Rapid Application Development and many more models.
Prototyping:
- Prototyping is an iterative process that converts the requirement into working system by continuously monitoring the work between the users and analyst.
- The analysts develop the prototype for the user interface design.
- The prototypes are the simulation model of the navigations controls, forms, reports, input
mechanism and output mechanism. - Each interface has a separate prototype to represent the working procedure of the system to the user and the programmers.
