- 18. Tom and Jerry opened a new lawn service. They provide three types of services: mowing, fertilizing, and planting trees. The cost of mowing is $35.00 per 5,000 square yards, fertilizing is $30.00 per application, and planting a tree is $50.00. Write an algorithm that prompts the user to enter the area of the lawn, the number of fertilizing applications, and the number of trees to be planted. The algorithm then determines the billing amount. (Assume that the user orders all three services.) (9)arrow_forwardDraw hierarchy charts or flowcharts that depict the programs described below. The program should ask the user for:– The retail price of the item being purchased– The sales tax rateOnce these items have been entered, the program should calculate and display:– The sales tax for the purchase– The total of the salearrow_forwardCoffee vending machine: It is a vending system that can work for different prices of coffee. It works with coins. It should calculate the ammount difference and be able to refund extra money. The user will first select the product, the vending system will print the price on the screen, then the user will throw the money, the system will check the amount of money when the buy product button is pressed, if the amount of money is suitable, it will check whether the product is in the system, and if the product is available, it will deliver the coffee. It will refund extra money to customer. 1) Draw the sequence diagram for the scenario given above.2) Draw the class diagram for the given scenario. Thank you so much.arrow_forward
- HELP NEEDED ASAP! Language: JAVA Write a program that prompts the user for a value greater than 10 as an input (you should loop until the user enters a valid value) and finds the square root of that number and the square root of the result, and continues to find the square root of the result until you reach a number that is smaller than 1.01. The program should output how many times the square root operation was performed.arrow_forwardSales TaxWrite a program that will ask the user to enter the amount of a purchase. The program shouldthen compute the state and county sales tax. Assume the state sales tax is 5 percent and thecounty sales tax is 2.5 percent. The program should display the amount of the purchase, thestate sales tax, the county sales tax, the total sales tax, and the total of the sale (which is the sumof the amount of purchase plus the total sales tax). Hint: Use the value 0.025 to represent 2.5 percent, and 0.05 to represent 5 percent.arrow_forwardFill in the blanks: Q. - C-LANGUAGE Design flying characters Screen Saver will display flying characters just like a Screen Saver, here is a set of characters that will access randomly and position on the screen will also random and on the random position program will display random character from assigned set of characters until user does not press any key.arrow_forwardThe 9/11 tragedy occurred in 2001. Develop a program that will allow users to enter their current age. The program must calculate and display how old the user was at the time the tragedy occurred. If the user was not yet born or less than 1 year old at the time of the tragedy, the program should display the message; “You were either not yet born or less than a year old when the tragedy occurred”. The program must perform all the required calculations. It should also allow the ages of multiple persons to be entered. Run the program with the ages of two persons who are 36 years old and 8 years old.arrow_forwardC language The program should allow users to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. The program should display a menu and prompt the user for a mathematical operation, until they enter 5 to exit. The menu should give the user the option to add, subtract, multiply or divide fractions, or exit. After the user chooses their option, they should be prompted to input two fractions. The result of the arithmetic should then be displayed to the screen. Requirements main()Functionality: This main function should prompt the user for a menu option until they enter 5. If the user doesn't choose Option 5 to end the program, it should get two fractions from the user. It should decide, based on the menu option which actions to perform on the fractions. Option 1 adds the two fractions together. Option 2 subtracts the first fraction from the second. Option 3 multiplies the two fractions together. Option 4 divides the first fraction by the second one. In addition to the main functions, your…arrow_forward

The program should display a menu which allows the student to choose one of the following math problems: addition subtraction multiplication division – DO NOT allow division by 0. the final selection should let the user quit the program 1. The math problem selected should allow the student to enter the appropriate inputs and after they press the [Enter] key, the program should display the correct answer. 2. After the user has finished the math problem, the program should display the menu again. This process is repeated until the user chooses to quit the program. Input Validation: If the user selects an item not on the menu, display an error message and display the menu again.arrow_forwardFat Gram Calculator Design a program that asks for the number of fat grams and calories in a food item. Validate the input as follows: Make sure the number of fat grams and calories is not less than 0. According to nutritional formulas, the number of calories cannot exceed fat grams x 9. Make sure that the number of calories entered is not greater than fat grams x 9. Once corrected data has been entered, the program should calculate and display the percentage of calories that come from fat.
