I need help trying to write a program that simulates the condition you may find at a traffic light. The program should prompt the user to enter a value of G, Y, or R that corresponds to a green, yellow, or red light. However, in the case of a yellow light, the program should prompt the user to check for a police presence by entering a value of Y or N for yes or no. If there are no police in sight then proceed through the light, otherwise come to a complete stop. This program that I need help on uses an if-else statement. I use java eclipse. Thank you so much

- Write a program that invites the user to enter two numbers: a dividend (the top number in a division) and a divisor (the bottom number). It then calculates quotient and remainder using / and % operator and displays the result. After one iteration it asks user whether he/she wants to do more (Y/N). (C++ show input and output as well)arrow_forwardPROBLEM:Write a program that prompts the user to input first name, middle initial, and last name (in upper case) for an ID card. There is a 22-character limit that also includes spaces in between the names on the ID card. The following conditions/limitations are observed: A. If the first name, second name, middle initial, and last name exceed the character limit, use the first name initial and last name. B. If the last name’s character count is greater than or equal to the character limit, omit the second name and middle initial. Use the first name initial and truncate the last name to fit the character limit. C. The spaces in between the first name, second name, middle initial, and last name should not be included in the input. D. If there is no second name or middle initial, input 0. E. Omit any space in the last name, e.g., DE GUZMAN will be DEGUZMAN.arrow_forwardProgram 2: Write a program that asks the user for a word or phrase. Check to see if it is a palindrome. A palindrome is a word that is spelled exactly the same forward and backwards such as radar or noon. Your program must also take case into account. If the user types Radar, it must still return that it is a palindrome. Do not worry about palindromes with spaces. You do not need to put any code in static methods, you do not need to worry about try/catch blocks, and you do not need to make the program run more than once. Test values that I will use in class: Noon palindrome tacocat palindrome Hello not a palindrome in javaarrow_forward
- 3) Write a program that reads an integer and prints how many digits it has by checking whether the number is >= 10, >= 100, and so on. However, if the number is greater than a million, just print "lots". If the number is negative, then first multiply it by -1.arrow_forward] In a triangle, the sum of the lengths of any two sides is greater than the lengthof the other third side. Write a program triangle.cc that prompts a user to enterthe lengths of three sides, checks if they form a triangle, and outputs if it is an isosceles, equilateral, scalene, or right triangle. Also, your program should output the perimeter andthe area of the triangle. In a right triangle, the square of the length of one side is equalto the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides. An isosceles triangle hastwo sides of equal length. An equilateral triangle has all three sides with the same length.A scalene triangle has no equal sides. Your program should define and use the followingfunctions:(a) isTriangle - takes the 3 sides of a triangle and returns true if they form a triangle, false otherwise.(b) isIsosceles - takes the 3 sides of a triangle and returns true if they form anisosceles triangle, false otherwise.(c) isEquilateral - takes the 3 sides of a triangle and…arrow_forward. It charges $3.25 for a dozen eggs, or 45 cents for individual eggs that are not part of a dozen. Write a program that prompts a user for the number of eggs in the order and then display the amount owed with a full explanation using the following wording: You ordered 27 eggs. That’s 2 dozen at $3.25 per dozen and 3 loose eggs at 45 cents each for a total of $7.85.arrow_forward
- The State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has asked you to write a program that grades the written portion of the ‘n’ drivers’ license exam, which has ‘m’ multiple choice questions. A correct answer has 2 marks and a wrong answer has -1 mark. There is no mark if the question is unanswered. Write a C program to read the answers of ‘n’ candidates and print the total score of each candidate.arrow_forwardAirline companies apply baggage restrictions for their passengers. An airline company has decided to apply a 10kg limitation for passengers' hand luggage and 20kg for their normal baggage. When passengers arrive, they enter their hand and normal luggage weight from the keyboard. If passengers exceed their normal baggage allowance of 10 dollars per gram, they pay 12 dollars per kg. Accordingly, write the program that calculates the baggage price of the airline they will go to according to the baggage values entered by the arriving passenger and keeps this from closing the program for each passenger. Note: If hand and normal baggage allowances are stretched below the maximum value, the payment amount will be considered not negative. An example printout is given on the right. Geri bildirim gönderarrow_forwardYou have been asked to write a program to play rock-paper-scissors. Your program will ask the user to input a number 0, 1, or 2 to denote rock, paper, and scissors respectively. Your program will then randomly generate a number 0, 1, or 2 to denote the computer’s hand. The rules for the game are: •A scissor can cut paper. •A rock can knock a scissor. •A piece of paper can wrap a rock. Let the game run continuously until either the user or the computer wins 3 times, displaying the outcome of each hand. At the end of the game, display a message indicating whether the user or the computer wins Helpful Hint: import random player2= random.randint(0, 2)arrow_forward
