Species is a taxonomic unit and is denoted by Latin binomial nomenclature. Species come after genus in the taxonomical hierarchy. It is a group of living organisms in a geographical area, which are capable of interbreeding. The habitat is the surrounding environment in which a particular species live. Species are affected by their habitat and their survival and growth rate crucially depends on their habitat.
