(Computerization of Health Records) A health care issue that has been in the news lately is the
computerization of health records. This possibility is being approached cautiously because of sensitive privacy and security concerns, among others. Computerizing health records could make it easier for patients to share their health profiles and histories among their various health care professionals. This could improve the quality of health care, help avoid drug conflicts and erroneous drug prescriptions, reduce costs and in emergencies could save lives. In this exercise, you’ll design a “starter” HealthProfile structure for a person. The structure’s members should include the person’s first name, last name, gender, date of birth (consisting of separate attributes for the month, day and year of birth), height (in inches) and weight (in pounds). - *Explain with details* A clinical laboratory has a vacancy for a medical transcriptionist. The job requires candidates to be able to type at least 60 words per minute with an error rate of no more than 5%. Candidate A has more than 10 years in medical transcription, types 65 words per minute with a 2% error rate. She also has a very strong work record; however, she has been diagnosed with strong indications of carpel tunnel syndrome in her right wrist. To limit the tingling sensation and pain she occasionally experiences, she wears a wrist brace that extends over the lower portion of her hand on both sides and is visible even when she wears long sleeves. Candidate A applies in person for the job. She completes the application and takes a typing test. Impressed with her application, resume, and score on the typing test, the recruiter offers to immediately interview Candidate A for the position. One week later, Candidate A calls the employer to determine her status for employment. The…arrow_forward6) Decryption (Substitution Cipher): The following is a substitution cipher. DNA sequences consist of A, T, G, C representing nucleobases adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine. Proteins consist of 20 different letters indicating 20 different amino acids. Suppose you are going to be recruited as a research fellow in a Bio-informatics lab where the recruiters need to compare your DNA characteristics for some reasons with their most successful researcher's DNA. If they observe that highest nucleobase subsequence matching score is more than 5, primarily you will be considered as a valid candidate for their lab. Let's say the part of DNA Sequence of you and the researcher are AATTGCGG, and GACTTACGA respectively. Now your task is to find a suitable algorithm to help the recruiters to measure your eligibility, and do the necessary task to convey them the list of highest matched nucleobases.arrow_forward

For instance, NO2 is measured using micrograms in each cubic metre of air (㎍/m3). A microgram (㎍) is one millionth of a gram. A concentration of 1 ㎍/m3 means that one cubic metre of air contains one microgram of pollutant. To protect our health, the UK Government sets two air quality objectives for NO2 in their Air Quality Strategy The hourly objective, which is the concentration of NO2 in the air, averaged over a period of one hour. The annual objective, which is the concentration of NO2 in the air, averaged over a period of a year. The following table shows the colour encoding and the levels for Objective 1 above, the mean hourly ratio, adopted in the UK. For the beam shown in Figure 5.15, the second moment of inertia is determined as follows: l=bh312 b is the beam’s base. h is the beam’s height. Using these formulas, write, compile, and run a C++ program that determines and displays a table of the deflection for a cantilevered pine beam at half-foot increments along its length, using the following data: w=200lbs/ftl=3ftE=187.2106lb/ft2b=.2fth=.3ftarrow_forward

Arbitrage can become a source of gain when applied to currency exchanges. Consider the fol- lowing currency exchange ratios as an example: 1 U.S. dollar buys 0.7292 euros, 1 euro buys 105.374 Japanese yen, 1 Japanese yen buys 0.3931 Russian rubles, 1 Russian ruble buys 0.0341 U.S. dollars. Then you could take 1 U.S. dollar and buy 0.7292 euros with it, with which you can buy 76.8387 yen (because 0.7292 * 105.374 = 76.8387). Then take the 76.8387 yen and buy 30.2053 rubles (because 76.8387 * 0.3931 = 30.2053), and finally take the 30.2053 rubles and buy 1.03 dollars (because 30.2053 * 0.0341 = 1.0300). - Problem C. Front Tooth ConcealmentYou have recently been appointed vice principal of a high school, and as such, you have the honor of helping out with their graduation ceremony. You will alternate reading off the names of the graduates with the principal. Unfortunately, you got your front teeth knocked out last night while fighting crime as a masked vigilante, so you are unable to pronounce any name containing the letters ‘s’ or ‘z’. Since you don’t want your enemies to learn of your secret identity, and you suspect that some of them may be present at graduation, you need to avoid saying any names containing the letters ‘s’ or ‘z’. You will read the first name from the list of graduates, meaning that you will also read the third, the fifth, the seventh, and so on. Therefore, you must ensure that all names at odd positions in the list of names (or at even indexes, since we start indexing at 0), do not contain the letters ‘s’ or ‘z’. The business problem is that the current paper based system is time-consuming, prone to errors, and makes it difficult to access patient information in real-time. Using the OSCAR mnemonic can assist business analysts in investigating the situation to complete the above project. Explain briefly how the OSCAR mnemonic can be used to investigate how a new electronic health record system can be implemented.arrow_forward(JAVA) A smart home has a number of equipment attached to it.
