Determine the LU decomposition with out pivoting by hand for the following matrix and check your results by validating that $\left[L\right]\left[U\right]=\left[A\right]$.

$\left[\begin{array}{ccc}8& 2& 1\\ 3& 7& 2\\ 2& 3& 9\end{array}\right]$

(b) Employ the result of (a) to compute the determinant.

(c) Repeat (a) and (b) using MATLAB.
