Question
Chapter 10.4, Problem 2C
Summary Introduction
To differentiate: The outcome of mitosis and meiosis.
Introduction: Cell division is a process in which a cell splits into daughter cells. In the process of cell division, the chromatin present in the nucleus shrinks and forms a thread-like structure called the chromosomes. There are mainly two types of cell division: mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis takes place in somatic cell, and meiosis takes place in reproductive cells. Meiosis I and meiosis II are the two separate sequential events in the meiosis process.
