Introduction

When individuals exchange information in the form of a conversation, it is not uncommon for them to make use of similar grammatical structures. This similarity is known as syntactic coordination. Syntactic priming, however, refers to a phenomenon of hearing a specific statement with a definite syntactic construction which increases the likelihood that the same sentence will be constructed in an identical manner.
