Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
It is given to have an idea about neutron stars and white dwarfs.
The similarity is that they have similar mass.
White dwarfs are created when low mass stars collapse, which are of 10 times the mass of the Sun.
This collapsed star loses weight because of wind, leaving behind a mass less than 1.44 solar mass. Neutron stars are created during the catastrophic collapse of the core of a massive star.
White dwarfs are supported by electron degeneracy pressure; on the other hand, neutron stars are supported by neutron degeneracy pressure.
White dwarfs have higher size compared to neutron stars.
A neutron star has a higher gravitational field.
A neutron star hasa higher temperature, higher spin, and higher magnetic field compared to white dwarfs.

Neutron star and white dwarfs differ in many properties.
