What are some of the tasks at which robots excel? Which human tasks are difficult for robots to master? What fields of AI are required to develop a truly perceptive robot?

Program Plan Intro

Artificial Intelligence:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) simulates thinking and behaves as human such as the capability of giving reason and learning.

  • Its main aim is to develop a system which mimics human intelligence.
  • It increases the speed and consistency of decision making, helps in solving the problems without lending complete information.
  • The problems which cannot be solved by the conventional computing can be resolved using the AI system.

Components of Artificial Intelligence:

The six key components of AI are as follows:

  • Expert systems
  • Robotics
  • Vision systems
  • Natural language processing
  • Learning systems
  • Neural networks

Robot:

  • A robot is nothing but a machine that is capable of doing complex actions automatically.
  • It is programmable by a computer and guided by a control device.
  • Similar to a computer, robots are linked with networks, software in order to increase its usefulness.
  • A robot can identify people and objects. It also can talk; respond to alarms, carries supplies, etc.

Real time examples of robots:

Some of the real time robots in current use are as follows:

  • Bionic Legs – It is an artificial leg that supports people with natural movement without requiring the user to intentionally control the joint.
  • Hospital robots – They are sued to carry heavy materials.
  • U.S Navy’s Bluefin 21 submarine – It is an underwater vehicle that is used in navy.
  • Roomba vacuum – It is used to clean the floor and also it has its own bin to store the wastes.
  • Dash and Dot – It is a learning program for kids.

Explanation of Solution

Tasks of robots excel:

  • The work of the robots is greatest at time of the dangerous situations or precision beyond that need of human’s capability.
  • Moreover the robot excel are involved in repetitive tasks which are yet to be completed.

Difficult human task for robot:

The difficult human task for robot is given below:

  • The difficult movement of human task or movement through rare situation is tougher to robot.
  • Robots need more senses such as smell, flavor, vision, and so on...
