Program plan:

• In the file “ScrollingComponent.java”, import necessary packages, and create a class “ScrollingComponent”,

  • Define the method “advancePosition()” to advance the message one step in the current direction.
  • Define the method “changeDirection()” to change direction of scrolling message.
  • Define the method “setMessage()” to change the message.
• In the file “ScrollingFrame.java”, import necessary package, and create a class “ScrollingFrame”,
  • Declare an object for “ScrollingComponent”.
  • Initialize the variables.
  • Define the constructor to create necessary panels and create all necessary components.
  • Create Listener class for update scrolling.
  • Create Listener class for changing direction.
  • Create Listener class to increase speed.
  • Create Listener class to slower speed.
  • Create Listener class to update foreground.
  • Create Listener class to update background.
  • Create Listener class to update message box.
  • Create Listener class to change font's name.
  • Create Listener class to change font's style.
