To explain: The reason why blue portion of the given molecules are hydrophilic and red portion of the given molecules are hydrophobic.
Introduction: Based on the charge and polarity, molecules are classified into two basic types such as hydrophilic and hydrophobic. The hydrophilic molecules have charged and polar molecules that make hydrogen bond with water molecule, wheras the hydrophobic molecules contain the nonpolar molecules that are insoluble in water.
To draw: A polypeptide chain that is made up of three amino acids with the hydophobic side chains.
Introduction: A longer chain of amino acid is known as polypeptide. Based upon the interaction with water, the molecules are two types, namely hydrophilic and hydrophobic.
