Their traditional costal locations saw influx of migration from inland regions and this took a toll on the social life of the workers. DURBAN PORT GRADUALLY RESTARTS OPERATIONS AFTER FLOODS South Africa’s logistics group Transnet gradually resumed operations at its Durban port on Wednesday morning after severe flooding in KwaZulu-Natal province, which resulted in port operations being suspended as a precautionary measure.
