Chapter 11.2, Problem 11.3.3QC
Summary Introduction
To write:
The number of motor neurons that innervate a single skeletal muscle fiber.
Introduction:
Each individual skeletal muscle is a combination of various integrated tissues like nerve fibers, skeletal muscle fiber, blood vessels, and connective tissues. Skeletal muscles fibers present in the skeletal muscles can be very long ones with a length of about 30m in the upper leg. All individual skeletal muscle fibers in each skeletal muscle contain a single motor neuron that is present at the neuromuscular junction. This neuron generates excitation signals which activate the fiber to contract.
