Chapter 11.3, Problem 11.25CP
Program Plan Intro
Serializable objects:
To serialize an object it needs to convert its state to a byte stream. After converting it into the byte stream it can be reverted back into a copy of the object. To serialize a java object, its class or any superclass should implement “java.io.serializable”.

Create a class with a static main that tests the ability to resolve and print a Path:
• Create an instance of a FileSystem class.
• Resolve an instance of a Path interface from a directory path and filename.
• Print the constructed Path with System.out.println() method.
2. Create a class with a static main that tests the ability to resolve and print a Path:
• Create an array of Path class.
• Instantiate instances of Path with absolute and relative paths.
• Print the constructed elements of the array of Path class with System.out.println() method.
3. Create a class to test serialisation class that implements serializable, it should implement the following:
• A static void method that serialises an object.
• A static void method that deserializes an object.
• A static main method that tests the two by moving an object from one to the other
How does serialization handle circular references between objects?
What does the Protected Access specifier allow?

- Part 2: Encryption Objective: Develop a program that encrypts a plaintext file by XORing 128-bit blocks of the file with a key repeatedly until the entire file is encrypted. Details: • The plaintext file will be a book from Project Gutenberg. • The encryption method should use the XOR operation on the file, 128 bits at a time, with the key. • Each 128-bit block is XORed with the same key. • The program should work from the command line and accept three parameters: o The name of the key file o The name of the plaintext file o The desired name of the resulting ciphertext file Note: This encryption method is not supposed to be secure. - What are best practices for logging and reporting exceptions in file operations to aid debugging and troubleshooting?arrow_forwardInstructions Your job is to write a program to encrypt outgoing messages and decrypt incoming messages using a Vigenere Cypher. In this assignment, you will parse a string of words from a file into tokens using the strtok_s command with pointers and then use the Vigenere Cypher algorithm to encrypt and decrypt the parsed words. Before you can perform any encryption/decryption activities, the first step is to read in messages from a file and parse the messages into individual words. The Program: Setting up classes and understanding tokenization The first step in encrypting/decrypting messages is to parse the messages into words before applying the encryption/decryption algorithms to them. This parsing process is called “tokenization.” Read the contents of a file into this array using the getline command. The objective of this assignment is to demonstrate the use of pointers in a program utilizing c-strings and tokenization. The use of pointers is foundational in C++.
