Explanation of Solution

Command line arguments:

• When the user run the program at that time the information is passed to the program is called as command line argument.
• The passed information is stored as a string array in the main method. After that, the user can use the command line arguments in their program.
• The information is passed as the “Strings”.
• There is no restriction on the number of java command line arguments. The user can specify any number of arguments.
• They are captured into the “String args” of the main method.

Example:

If the user starts a program with the command line as

java ProgramClass –d file1...
