Chapter 1.13, Problem 1PQ
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Correlation represents a statistical technique in which the numerical information is organized in a particular way so that it is simpler to look for patterns in the information. It is used to measure the relationship between two or more variables. The strength of relationships that exist between two variables will be determined by the actual number itself. The number will always lie between +1.00 and -1.00. The relationship between the variables will be stronger, if the number will be closer to +1.00 or to -1.00. If the number is closer to zero the relationship will be weaker.
