The object oriented programming language consists of three pillars. They are:
- Encapsulation
- Inheritance
- Polymorphism
Encapsulation:
- One of the fundamental concept of OOP is encapsulation. In Java, the encapsulation is a
mechanism of wrapping the variables and code acting on the methods together as a one unit. - The variables of a class will be hidden from another classes and it can be accessed only though the methods of their present class.
- It is also called as “data hiding”.
Inheritance:
The derived classes do not inherit the constructor functions of the base classes.
