Market breadth refers to the technique which is taken into consideration for technical analysis to measure the overall market's direction. It basically provided analysis with respect to the number of companies that are increasing in comparison to the companies that are declining. There is a positive market breath when more stock advance in comparison to stocks that decline and vice versa.
